JOB OVERVIEW

We are an event organization focused on hosting (dance) events, parties, and workshops. For the long term, we are looking for a creative and structured Graphic & Video Designer to help us design and edit all our visual promotional materials.

You will work with existing image and video content (photos, videos, logos, branding guidelines) and transform it into appealing flyers, social media visuals, and promotional videos for our events.

We will can start with 20 hours per week or 40hours per week. We currently have approximately 40 hours of work available per week, so we could also start with 40 hours for the first 6 months, and then – in consultation – temporarily scale back to 20 hours per week for another 6 months and then ramp it up again.

Key Responsibilities
Graphic Design (Flyers & Banners)

Design event flyers for various concepts and themes (e.g., Genre Flyers, Theme Flyer, Party Flyer(s), Workshop & Party Schedule Flyer, Accommodation Flyer, Price Increase Flyer, Merchandise Flyer(s), Doorprices, etc.).

Create website banners and social media visuals (Website Banners).

Set up and update master templates (Master Flyers, Master Theme Flyer(s)) to streamline the design process for future events.

Ensure all designs are consistent with our brand identity (fonts, colors, logos, tone of voice).

Video Editing & Motion Graphics

Edit raw video footage received from our videographer.
Create short promotional videos for social media and advertisements (Promo Videos, Thank You Video, Animations Video).
Assemble various video types, such as:
Instructor demos
Social dance & party videos
Aftermovies
Bootcamp / masterclass videos
Shows
Cultural / gastronomy / activities & interviews videos

Add titles, lower thirds, simple animations, logo animations, and potentially basic effects.
Optimize videos for use on different platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Stories/Reels/TikTok).

Required Skills & Experience
Must-have

Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop (flyer design, social media posts).
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (video editing).
Basic to good experience with Adobe After Effects (animations, intros/outros, text animations).
Strong sense of composition, color, typography, and branding.
Ability to work with existing brand assets (logo, colors, fonts) and contribute creative ideas.
Excellent written communication skills in English and spoken
Reliable, organized, and available during agreed-upon working hours.
Nice-to-have (not required, but a plus)

Experience in designing for the event/entertainment/festival industry.
Basic knowledge of social media marketing (what works on Reels, Stories, TikTok, etc.).
Experience in creating simple animated flyers or "moving posters."
