Graphic Designer (Nightclub & Events) – Part-Time Virtual Assistant
About the Role
We are looking for a part-time Graphic Designer Virtual Assistant to support the creative output of a busy nightclub and events brand in Australia.
This role is design-first and social-first.
Your primary responsibility is creating bold, high-impact visuals for:
Social media image ads (Meta, Instagram, TikTok formats)
Organic social media posts
Event posters and digital flyers
DJ announcements and weekly event promotions
If you do not have nightclub, DJ, party, bar, or live event design experience, this role is not a good fit.
This Role Is Social & Design Focused (Important)
This is not a general VA role.
This is not a strategy role.
This is not corporate design work.
The priority is:
Scroll-stopping social media image ads
High-energy Instagram and
Nightclub event posters
DJ lineup announcements
Story graphics and countdown creatives
You must understand nightlife culture, bold typography, lighting effects, dark themes, and attention-grabbing layouts.
Key Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities (Core Focus)
Designing high-converting social media image ads (all dimensions)
Creating engaging organic social media posts
Designing nightclub event posters and digital flyers
Creating DJ lineup announcements and weekly promotional creatives
Adapting one concept into multiple formats (Feed, Story, Square, Vertical)
Maintaining consistent branding across weekly events
Preparing creatives optimised for paid ads and organic reach
Delivering event creatives within 12–24 hours when required
Secondary Responsibilities (Support Tasks)
Organising design files in Google Drive
Following creative briefs from the marketing team
Preparing exports correctly for each platform
Meeting weekly campaign deadlines
(No paid ads management. No marketing strategy required.)
Required Experience (Non-Negotiable)
To be considered, you must have:
Experience designing for nightclubs, DJs, festivals, bars, or live events
A strong portfolio of nightlife posters and social media graphics
Experience designing both paid image ads and organic social posts
Strong typography and layout skills
Ability to create bold, energetic, modern visuals
Experience using Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, or similar tools
If your experience is mainly corporate, real estate, ecommerce product ads, or minimalist branding — this role is not suitable.
We are specifically looking for someone who understands nightlife energy and culture.

You can handle 12–24 hour turnaround requests when events are time-sensitive

Canva (for resizing and variations)

ClickUp (task management)
Working Hours & Compensation
Part-time role (20–30 hours per week initially)
Must work during Australian business hours (full overlap required)
Must be responsive during agreed working hours
Ability to handle urgent requests when required
Long-term opportunity with potential to move to full-time
Compensation:
