ELLSEY Creative is looking for a full-time Graphic Designer, ideally with experience in digital learning design.
ELLSEY Creative designs digital learning, capability materials, and branded communications for organisations that care about quality and standards. Much of our work involves translating complex, content-heavy information into structured, visually clear learning and communication assets.
This role sits at the intersection of graphic design and digital learning execution.
ROLE FOCUS
As the Graphic Designer, you are responsible for the visual design and structured layout of:
• Digital learning modules
• Interactive training materials
• Proposals and pitch decks
• Capability statements and reports
• Flyers and campaign collateral
• Social media graphics
E-learning is a core component of this role. You will design and build visually structured learning modules using supplied content, ensuring clarity, flow, pacing, and engagement.
You understand that in digital learning, design affects comprehension. You can structure screens, apply hierarchy, reduce cognitive overload, and create clean, intuitive learning experiences.
This is a hands-on execution role requiring strong layout capability and disciplined design standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design and build digital learning modules from existing content
• Structure learning screens for clarity, pacing, and comprehension
• Apply visual hierarchy and layout principles to complex information
• Create supporting visuals, diagrams, and interactive elements where required
• Design long-form structured materials such as proposals, reports, and booklets
• Produce campaign assets including flyers and social graphics
• Maintain brand consistency and visual cohesion across multiple client environments
• Ensure all outputs are professionally finished and aligned with ELLSEY Creative standards
DESIGN CAPABILITY
You are a strong graphic designer first.
You are confident using the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly:
• InDesign
• Illustrator
• Photoshop
Experience using e-learning authoring tools (Articulate, aNewSpring, Kajabi or similar) is highly regarded.
You understand that learning design is not decoration. You know how to make screens readable, structured, and calm, not cluttered or overwhelming.
INFORMATION AND LEARNING STRUCTURE
• You are comfortable working with dense content.
• You can break down large volumes of information into structured layouts and logical screen sequences.
• You understand the fundamentals of learner flow, attention, and reinforcement - even if you are not a formally trained instructional designer.
Working at ELLSEY Creative:
• You work with autonomy and ownership. You are trusted to execute learning and design materials to a high standard.
• You collaborate internally on structure and direction but are accountable for visual clarity and execution quality.
• You’ll be part of a team that moves quickly, values quality, and works across diverse industries.
• If you thrive in complexity and enjoy bringing order to fast-moving environments, this role will stretch and reward you.
Highly regarded:
• Experience building structured digital learning modules
• Experience in a senior design role
• Strong understanding of branding systems
• Ability to maintain consistency across multiple brands
What matters:
• This role suits someone who:
• Cares deeply about quality
• Thinks structurally
• Works with discipline
• Understands that clarity is more powerful than decoration
This is a role for a designer who wants to build meaningful learning and communication materials, not just make things look good.
REMUNERATION
Pay rate will be dependent on experience and demonstrated capability.
