We are a growing DTC e-commerce brand in the health and wellness space. We’re looking for a highly skilled Graphic Designer who can create a high volume of high-performing static ads AND native-style “ugly” ads for Meta/Facebook—creatives that blend into the feed, stop the scroll, and drive conversions.

About the Role
This role is not about making things “pretty.” It’s about making creatives that sell at scale. You will be expected to generate multiple static ads on a daily basis.
You’ll design:
Clean, high-converting static image ads
Raw, native-style ugly ads that don’t look like ads
You’ll work closely with our team to turn hooks, angles, and ad copy into visuals that perform. If you understand direct response design, know how to leverage AI for rapid asset generation, and know when polished works vs. when ugly wins, this role is for you.
What You’ll Be Designing
Direct response static ads (image + text overlays) highlighting products.
Native / ugly image ads (raw, unpolished, feed-blending creatives)
Before / after comparison ads
Testimonial and review-based creatives
Screenshot-style, notes-style, WhatsApp-style ugly ads
Headline-driven clickbait ads
Educational infographic-style ads
Hook-first scroll stoppers for cold traffic
What You’ll Own
Creative Output: Create attention-grabbing native ad images that generate high CTRs. You will develop both simple designs and more complex compositions with advanced editing.
High-Volume Execution: Generate a high volume of static and ugly ads daily from briefs and copy.
AI Integration: Utilize AI tools extensively to enhance productivity and creative output. Quickly convert AI-generated base visuals into high-performing ad creatives.
Testing & Iteration: Create multiple variations for A/B testing (hooks, layouts, formats) and adapt designs based on performance data to optimize click-through rates.
Systematization: Turn winning formats into repeatable systems.
Platform Optimization: Ensure designs are optimized for Meta & TikTok specs (including maintaining strict 1:1 aspect ratios when required).
Who You Are
1+ year of experience designing ads for DTC e-commerce.
Available to dedicate 30-40 hours a week to our operation.
Strong understanding of direct response principles and exactly what makes images "clickable" in native ad environments.
Highly skilled at AI image generation and editing tools, alongside Figma, Photoshop, or similar software.
Comfortable designing both polished static ads and raw ugly ads.
Ability to work independently with minimal direction, taking a concept and executing it quickly.
Excellent communication and a track record of timely delivery.
Understands that ugly ? lazy; it’s strategic.
Bonus (Nice to Have)
Experience using specific AI design tools (Nano Banana, Midjourney, etc.).
Background in health, beauty, or wellness brands.
Familiarity with Meta ad performance feedback loops.
Basic understanding of copywriting for ads.
