Graphic Designer – Vehicle Wraps & Large-Format Printing
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Graphic Designer who specializes in vehicle wraps and large-format print design. This is a remote position for someone who understands how to create professional, production-ready artwork—not just attractive digital graphics.
The ideal candidate has experience designing vehicle wraps, banners, yard signs, window graphics, storefront signage, and other large-format materials. You must be able to follow brand guidelines, work accurately with measurements and templates, and prepare files correctly for printing and installation.
Key Responsibilities
Create full and partial vehicle wrap designs using accurate vehicle templates.
Design large-format graphics, including:
Banners
Yard signs
Window graphics and perforated window film
Storefront signage
Wall graphics
Decals and stickers
Trade show graphics
Other print and signage materials
Prepare clean, production-ready artwork with correct dimensions, scaling, bleeds, margins, and cut paths.
Ensure important text, logos, and design elements are positioned safely around vehicle doors, handles, windows, body lines, and other obstacles.
Review all files carefully for spelling, measurements, alignment, image quality, and print accuracy.
Create realistic mockups and client presentation proofs.
Make revisions based on client or production-team feedback.
Organize design files and follow consistent file-naming standards.
Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
Communicate clearly and provide regular project updates.
Required Qualifications
Proven professional experience in vehicle wrap design and large-format print design.
Strong portfolio showing vehicle wraps, banners, signs, window graphics, or similar production work.
Advanced skills in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
Strong understanding of vector artwork, high-resolution raster images, fonts, linked files, clipping masks, and outlined text.
Experience preparing artwork in CMYK and creating print-ready PDF, AI, EPS, or other production file formats.
Ability to work with vehicle templates and design files at full size or an accurate scale.
Excellent attention to detail.
Strong understanding of layout, typography, color, branding, and visual hierarchy.
Ability to follow instructions and apply feedback accurately.
Good written English and clear communication skills.
Reliable computer, stable internet connection, and the ability to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with a sign shop, wrap company, commercial printer, or advertising agency.
Knowledge of RIP software and large-format printing workflows.
Familiarity with contour-cut lines, spot colors, panel overlaps, installation considerations, and color matching.
Experience creating customer proofs and realistic vehicle or storefront mockups.
Knowledge of common vehicle-template software or libraries.
What We Are Looking For
We want someone who:
Checks every detail before submitting work.
Understands that large-format design requires technical accuracy.
Takes ownership of projects and meets deadlines.
Asks clear questions when project information is incomplete.
Can balance creativity with print-production requirements.
Produces organized, professional files that are easy for the production team to use.
