JOB OVERVIEW

Hiring a Graphic Designer, please read carefully!

Looking for a dedicated Graphic Designer who is passionate about creating social media graphics and ad creatives for service-based businesses.

We work primarily with local businesses across Canada and the U.S. (dental clinics, home services, etc.), and the majority of design work supports Meta Ads and social media content.

IMPORTANT We are NOT looking for someone who does design only when they have extra time. We are looking for someone who can be a reliable member of our production team.

Requirements

• Must be fluent in English (primarily comprehension)
• Must have experience creating social media graphics and ad creatives
• Experience designing graphics for Facebook and Instagram
• Reliable internet connection
• Must meet reasonable deadlines (typically 24–48 hours)
• Constant and professional communication is a MUST
• Must be comfortable communicating with our team through Slack
• Able to share a portfolio with relevant work

You must be comfortable working alongside our video editors and production team to create graphics that support our video content.

Typical Work Includes

• Social media post graphics
• Carousel graphics
• Promotional graphics for offers and events
• Static Meta ad creatives
• Before/after visuals
• Thumbnail graphics for long-form content
• Text overlays and supporting graphics for video content

Our clients are mostly service-based businesses, so designs should be clean, modern, and easy to read.

Software Requirements

• Adobe Photoshop
• Adobe Illustrator
• Canva (optional but useful)
• After Effects (optional but preferred)

Pay Structure

We typically begin with per-project rates.

General pricing:

• Social Media Graphic: Starting at $5 CAD per graphic
• Carousel Graphics: $10–15 CAD per set
• Static Ad Creative: Starting at $8 CAD per design
• Thumbnails: $5–10 CAD per thumbnail

Monthly rates can be coordinated once quality of work is established for the company.

Our production workflow and expectations will be explained during the interview call so we can ensure we are aligned.
