Job Title: Graphic Designer & Custom Illustrator (Part-Time, Remote)
The Role:
The Graphic Designer & Illustrator will work directly with the Brand & Media team to create engaging promotional materials and educational content for both print and digital distribution. We are looking for a versatile creative who is equally talented at clean graphic design layouts and creating original digital illustrations from scratch (such as stickers, vectors, posters, logos, and branding).
Please note that this role focuses on digital illustration, not traditional media or hand-drawn physical art. While we welcome illustrations created in Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator is our primary application for producing media and finalizing graphic content.
The job is approximately 10 hours per week. This is a fully remote position.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Mastery of Adobe Illustrator and strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop. Even if you prefer to illustrate in Photoshop, you must be highly capable of working and building final layouts in Illustrator.
- A strong portfolio showcasing original, custom digital illustrations (stickers, vectors, posters, logos, branding, etc.) rather than modified stock assets or traditional/analog media.
- At least 3+ years of professional experience blending graphic design and digital illustration.
- A degree in Graphic Design, Illustration, or a related field is preferred, but not mandatory - your portfolio and practical skills are what matter most to us.
- Excellent command of layout, typography, and visual hierarchy (experience with educational materials or handbooks is a big plus).
- Ability to translate complex or abstract educational concepts into engaging, kid- and parent-friendly visual assets.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the flexibility to juggle multiple active projects.
- Fluent in English with the ability to assist in proofreading graphic copy.
- Bonus: Experience in social media content creation and strategy.

- Submission of a comprehensive design portfolio. (Please ensure your portfolio clearly highlights your original digital illustration work - whether done in Photoshop or Illustrator - such as branding assets, stickers, or posters).
- Completion of a paid design task is required as part of the final interview process.
