We are a U.S.-based facility management and general contracting company looking for a sharp, detail-oriented Government Contract Bid Coordinator / Proposal Specialist to help us identify, qualify, prepare, and track government bid opportunities.
This is not a generic VA role. We are looking for someone who understands how to work through solicitations carefully, organize compliance requirements, coordinate documents, and help produce complete, on-time submissions.
What you will do
Search for relevant federal, state, and local government bid opportunities
Review solicitations and summarize scope, deadlines, required documents, and key risks
Build compliance checklists and bid/no-bid summaries
Organize company information needed for submissions, including certifications, forms, resumes, past performance, and supporting documents
Draft first-pass proposal content, forms, capability responses, and submission packages
Coordinate internally to gather pricing, scope, technical information, and attachments
Maintain a live tracker of opportunities, deadlines, submissions, outcomes, and reasons for loss
Help improve our process over time so we pursue better opportunities and submit stronger packages
What we need
Prior experience supporting government bids, proposals, or contract submissions
Strong written English
Very strong attention to detail
Ability to read long documents and extract exactly what is required
Strong organization skills in Excel / Google Sheets / document management
Ability to work independently and communicate clearly

Compensation
