JOB OVERVIEW

We’re hiring an experienced Google Business Profile specialist to own profile creation, verification, optimization, and ongoing management across our local markets. You’ll also work directly with interested people, guiding them through the setup and verification process and following through until each next step is completed.

You must have direct, hands-on experience creating and verifying profiles, managing multiple listings, and handling suspensions and reinstatement appeals. We need someone who can bring their expertise, identify problems, and move work forward independently.

You will be responsible for:
- Profile creation and verification: Assess location eligibility, set up accurate profiles, configure categories, services, hours, contact information, and booking links, and manage verification through completion.

- Hauler outreach and coordination: Contact interested haulers, explain the process clearly, collect necessary information, schedule walkthroughs, and guide them through verification requirements, including video verification when required.

- Suspensions and reinstatements: Investigate the issue, identify and correct underlying problems, gather legitimate supporting documentation, submit appeals, and manage follow-ups with Google.

- Ongoing optimization: Keep profiles complete and accurate, improve relevant categories and services, maintain photos and posts, and identify opportunities to improve local visibility and customer conversion.

- Review management: Monitor and respond to reviews in a professional, natural voice. Flag customer concerns to the appropriate team and follow through on unresolved issues.

- Profile monitoring: Check for verification problems, unexpected edits, duplicate listings, inaccurate information, and other issues that could affect visibility or customer trust.

- Performance reporting: Track profile visibility, website clicks, calls, and attributable bookings where tracking is available. Explain what changed, what you believe caused it, and what action you recommend.

- Organization and follow-through: Maintain a clear tracker for every profile and hauler, including current status, open issues, last contact, next action, and follow-up date.

To be considered, you must have:
- Personally created and verified Google Business Profiles, including service-area businesses and location-based businesses.
- Direct experience handling suspensions and reinstatement appeals, with examples of your work and outcomes.
- Experience managing multiple profiles at the same time.
- A working understanding of Google’s current business representation guidelines and suspension appeal process.
- Strong written and spoken English, with the confidence to guide haulers over calls, messages
- The ability to troubleshoot independently, recognize when an issue needs escalation, and follow up without repeated reminders.

- Availability for 40 hours per week, including scheduled calls with U.S.-based haulers.
Experience with U.S. home services, local SEO, citation audits, and managing profiles across multiple markets is a plus.
Success in this role means accurate, verified profiles; haulers who understand and complete their next steps; timely review responses; well-managed suspension cases; and measurable progress toward qualified inquiries and bookings.
