JOB OVERVIEW

Google Business Profile Recovery and Optimization Specialist | Project Based / As Needed

I am building a professional Google consulting firm focused on Google Business Profile (formerly Google My Business) recovery, reinstatement, and optimization. I am new to this field, so I need someone who already understands it at an expert level and can lead recovery projects from day one.

We are starting by hiring specialists who can quickly and properly recover suspended, disabled, or unverified profiles. As we gain traction, this position will grow into other areas beyond this scope, including broader Google consulting services, Local SEO strategy, and long term optimization solutions. I need someone who wants to grow with the company as we expand.

This position is not for someone who wants to learn the job. I need someone who already knows far more than I do about GBP recovery and can handle a reinstatement case from start to finish with accuracy, strategy, and confidence.

What you need to bring

• Deep hands-on experience with Google Business Profile recovery and reinstatement
• Ability to diagnose the exact reason for suspension or rejection and determine the correct reinstatement process
• Ability to guide live video verification when required
• Strong working knowledge of the correct Google channels, documentation, and escalation paths
• Ability to resolve NAP conflicts, duplicate profiles, and policy violations
• Expert understanding of how Google tests and challenges verification attempts and how to work through those tactics to achieve fast and efficient turnaround for clients
• Knowledge of how to prevent future suspensions and build long-term stability and trust in a listing

Bonus skills (not required, but helpful as we expand)

• Local SEO strategy and category optimization
• Posting, photo, and content optimization for GBP
• Citation audits and cleanup
• Landing page recommendations for GBP and Maps ranking
