About Us: At ClickTyphoon, we help dominate their local markets. We are a fast-growing marketing agency that believes in data-driven strategies and measurable ROI. We are looking for a hyper-focused Google Business Profile (GMB) Specialist who lives and breathes the Google Local Pack.

The Role: Are you obsessed with turning red tracking grids into green ones? Do you know the exact difference between a soft suspension and a hard suspension on Google?

As our Google Business Profile Optimization Specialist, you will be the owner of our clients' local search visibility. You won't just be filling out business descriptions; you will be executing advanced local SEO strategies to increase map pack impressions, direction requests, and organic phone calls.
Key Responsibilities:

GBP Setup & Optimization: Claim, verify, and fully optimize new and existing Google Business Profiles using SEO, GEO, and local best practices.
Profile Management & Posting: Maintain an active presence for clients by publishing high-quality weekly Google Posts, updating offers, uploading geo-tagged images, and managing Q&A sections.
Review Management: Monitor and professionally respond to customer reviews using brand-appropriate tone and keyword-rich templates where appropriate.
Local SEO & Citation Building: Ensure 100% NAP consistency across all tier-1 data aggregators and niche local directories.
Spam Fighting: Proactively monitor the local SERPs for competitor spam and successfully report them to Google to clear out the Map Pack.
Suspension Reinstatements: Handle GBP verification issues, video verifications, and submit reinstatement requests for suspended profiles.
Tracking & Reporting: Use tools like BrightLocal, Local Falcon, or GeoGrid tracking to analyze local ranking performance, foot traffic metrics, and call conversions, compiling these into monthly client reports.
Required Skills & Experience:

Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience specifically managing Google Business Profiles and Local SEO campaigns.
Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of Google's Local Search algorithm, proximity factors, and ranking signals.
Tool Proficiency: Experience using local SEO software such as BrightLocal, Whitespark, Local Falcon, Semrush, or Ahrefs.
Problem Solver: Proven experience successfully reinstating suspended GBP listings and dealing with Google Support.
On-Page Knowledge: Ability to audit and recommend changes to local landing pages on a client's website to better support their GBP rankings.
Organization: Highly organized with the ability to manage 20+ profiles simultaneously.
