JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for an experienced Google Ads and Facebook/Meta Ads Specialist to manage and improve our paid advertising campaigns for a growing roofing company in the United States.

This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone who understands lead generation for local service businesses and can take ownership of our campaigns. Your primary goal will be simple: generate a consistent flow of high-quality homeowner leads while keeping our cost per lead under control.

We care much more about qualified leads, booked appointments, and actual customers than clicks, impressions, or vanity metrics.

Responsibilities
Build, manage, and optimize Google Search Ads campaigns
Manage Facebook and Instagram (Meta) advertising campaigns
Perform keyword research and continuously improve negative keyword lists
Write and test ad copy, headlines, offers, and calls-to-action
Create and test different audiences, targeting strategies, and retargeting campaigns
Monitor budgets, bidding strategies, CPL, conversion rates, and overall campaign performance
Set up and troubleshoot conversion tracking, Google Tag Manager, GA4, Meta Pixel, and related tracking
Review search terms and eliminate wasted advertising spend
Conduct A/B testing on ads, audiences, landing pages, and offers
Identify why campaigns are underperforming and make changes without needing constant direction
Provide clear weekly reporting showing spend, leads, cost per lead, conversion performance, and recommended changes
Help us continuously improve lead quality, not simply increase lead volume
What We're Looking For
Required:

Proven experience managing Google Ads
Proven experience managing Meta/Facebook Ads
Strong experience with lead-generation campaigns
Strong understanding of Google Search campaigns, keyword strategy, match types, bidding, negative keywords, and conversion tracking
Experience analyzing campaign data and making decisions based on performance
Strong written English and communication skills
Highly organized and able to work independently
Strongly Preferred:

Experience advertising for roofing companies
Experience with home-service businesses such as HVAC, plumbing, remodeling, solar, construction, landscaping, etc.
Experience generating leads in competitive U.S. markets
Experience with landing-page optimization
Experience with call tracking and CRM attribution
How We Measure Success
Success in this position will primarily be measured by:

Qualified Leads → Cost Per Qualified Lead → Booked Appointments → Cost Per Acquisition → Revenue Generated

We are looking for someone who understands that 20 high-quality roofing leads are more valuable than 100 low-quality leads that never answer the phone.

To Apply
Please include the following in your application:

How many years have you managed Google Ads?
How many years have you managed Facebook/Meta Ads?
Have you managed campaigns for roofing or other U.S. home-service companies? Please explain.
What monthly advertising budgets have you personally managed?
Give an example of a campaign you improved and what you changed.
What metrics do you use to determine whether a lead-generation campaign is performing well?
Include screenshots or examples of previous campaign results if available.
Important: Start your application with the words “EMERALD ADS” so we know you read the entire job posting.

We are looking for someone who can become a long-term part of our team, take ownership of our paid advertising, and help us aggressively grow our lead generation while maintaining profitability.
