The Role: Google Ads Account manager
OxBow USA is seeking a critical-thinking, data-driven Google Ads Specialist to own the technical management of 10–15 client accounts.
Unlike traditional agency roles, this is NOT a client-facing position. You will not be on client calls or managing
What You’ll Be Doing:
Full Account Management: Take 100% ownership of the Google Ads interface for 10–15 diverse business accounts. All companies/accounts are part of the Outdoor industry.
Execution & Iteration: Build, launch, and relentlessly optimize Search, Display, and Video campaigns based on internal strategy briefs.
Budget Stewardship: Manage client budgets with extreme precision, ensuring we hit spend targets while maximizing ROI.
Critical Problem Solving: Don't just follow a checklist. Analyze "why" an account is fluctuating and propose technical solutions to fix it.
Internal Collaboration: Participate in weekly internal strategy syncs with OxBow managers to report on performance and plan upcoming technical moves.
Why This Role is Different:
Deep Work Environment: No client interruptions. No frantic "where is my ad?" phone calls. You are here to focus on the numbers and the creative.
Collaborative Support: Our Account Managers handle the "people stuff" and provide you with clear tasks and information from the client.
Training & Onboarding: We provide a 1-month paid training period to get you up to speed on the "OxBow Way" of managing accounts.
Critical Thinker: You look at a high CPC and don't just see a number; you see a landing page friction point or a keyword match-type error.
Budget Conscious: You treat the client's money as your own—maximizing efficiency and preventing waste.
Team-First Communicator: Ability to explain technical ad concepts clearly to internal tea
Accountability: You are self-motivated and take pride in "owning" the performance of your assigned cohort of accounts.
