JOB OVERVIEW

About Cusell Marketing

Cusell Marketing is a performance-driven digital marketing agency specializing in scalable lead generation for U.S.-based home and professional service businesses. Our clients include mortgage professionals, HVAC companies, plumbers, roofers, and other service-based operators who rely on high-intent inbound leads to grow revenue—not clicks or impressions.

We operate at a high level, using advanced tools, tight tracking, and data-driven decision-making. We are looking for a Google Ads Manager who already understands this environment and can step in and own performance.

Role Overview

As the Google Ads Manager at Cusell Marketing, you will be responsible for building, managing, and scaling Google Ads ecosystems for service-based businesses across the U.S. This role is hands-on and performance-critical. You will manage Search, Local Services Ads (LSA), and Google Guarantee campaigns while leveraging advanced tracking, bidding strategies, and optimization frameworks.

This is not a “set it and forget it” role. We are looking for someone who understands lead quality, call-based conversions, attribution, and ROI—and who is comfortable working with sophisticated tools and multi-account complexity.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, build, manage, and optimize Google Search campaigns for home and professional service businesses

Manage and optimize Google Local Services Ads (LSA) and Google Guarantee accounts

Structure campaigns for scalability, efficiency, and lead quality

Conduct advanced keyword research focused on high-intent, service-based searches

Write, test, and iterate conversion-focused ad copy for local and emergency-driven services

Implement and manage advanced conversion tracking, including:

Call tracking

Form submissions

Offline conversion imports

Optimize bidding strategies (Manual, Max Conversions, tCPA, portfolio strategies, etc.)

Continuously improve Quality Scores, impression share, CPL, and conversion rates

Identify wasted spend and scaling opportunities across accounts

Monitor performance daily and proactively adjust campaigns

Ensure compliance with Google policies, including regulated industries (mortgage, financial services)

Collaborate with internal teams on landing pages, CRO, and funnel optimization

Deliver clear, performance-focused reporting and insights

Required Experience & Qualifications

3–5+ years of hands-on Google Ads management experience

Proven experience managing campaigns for U.S.-based home and professional service businesses, such as:

Mortgage & financial services

HVAC

Plumbing

Roofing

Electrical

Restoration

Other local or professional service businesses

Deep experience with:

Google Search Ads

Google Local Services Ads (LSA)

Google Guarantee

Strong understanding of lead generation economics, not just traffic metrics

Experience managing multiple client accounts in an agency environment

Demonstrated ability to optimize for cost per lead (CPL) and lead quality

Strong analytical and decision-making skills

High-Level Tools & Platforms (Required or Strongly Preferred)

You should be comfortable working with advanced marketing and tracking tools, such as:

Google Ads (advanced account structures & scripts a plus)

Google Analytics (GA4)

Google Tag Manager

Call tracking platforms (CallRail, WhatConverts, or similar)

Offline conversion tracking & CRM integrations

Landing page platforms (GoHighLevel, Unbounce, Webflow, etc.)

Reporting dashboards (Looker Studio or similar)

What Success Looks Like in This Role

Campaigns consistently meet or beat target CPL goals

Leads are qualified and revenue-generating, not junk

Proactive optimizations and testing—not reactive fixes

Clean tracking and clear attribution

Strategic recommendations backed by data

Clients and internal teams trust your judgment because results follow

Why Cusell Marketing?

Work with serious service-based businesses that depend on performance

No vanity metrics—results matter

Opportunity to manage meaningful ad spend and complex accounts

Remote flexibility with a high-expectation, high-accountability culture

Growth path into senior strategy or leadership roles
