Auto Mastery is a fast growing digital marketing agency focused on independent auto repair shops across the U.S.
We are hiring a Google Ads Media Buyer who can build, optimize, and scale local lead generation campaigns across Google Ads and Local Services Ads (LSA) to produce real phone calls, booked jobs, and new customer revenue.
This is not an entry level role. We need someone who can think, troubleshoot, and improve performance without needing constant hand holding.
We are only considering applicants with real campaign management experience inside Google Ads, not just course training.
What you will do
Build and manage Google Ads campaigns for auto repair shops
Optimize Search campaigns for leads, calls, and booked appointments
Manage and improve Performance Max campaigns when appropriate
Set up, optimize, and manage Local Services Ads (LSA) accounts
Monitor LSA performance, lead quality, dispute opportunities, and budget pacing
Perform keyword research, search term mining, and negative keyword management
Write and test ad copy that matches local intent
Improve targeting by location, service, and customer intent
Monitor budgets, bids, and campaign pacing
Review performance data and identify what to scale, fix, or cut
Build out landing pages based on an existing process and offer improvements if necessary
Help QA tracking for calls, forms, and conversions (Google Ads, GA4, GTM)
Report clearly on results and next actions

Call quality

Return on ad spend
LSA lead quality and dispute rate
Requirements
2+ years of hands on Google Ads experience
Strong experience with local lead generation campaigns
Strong Search campaign optimization skills
Experience with Performance Max
Experience setting up and managing Local Services Ads (LSA)
Comfortable with GA4 and Google Tag Manager
Strong English communication (written and spoken)
Organized, proactive, and detail oriented
Able to follow systems while also thinking critically
Reliable internet and consistent availability
Able to work 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Central Time (CST)
Big plus if you have
Experience with auto repair, home services, legal, dental, or other local service businesses
Experience with call tracking tools like WhatConverts or CallRail
Experience auditing underperforming accounts and turning them around
Experience using SOPs, checklists, and reporting dashboards
