We are a digital marketing agency looking for a detail-oriented Google Ads & Landing Page Support Assistant to help our Google Ads Manager with day-to-day tasks. This is an administrative/implementation role, not a senior strategist position.
Key Responsibilities
Google Ads administrative support
Assist with basic campaign setup (creating campaigns, ad groups, ads, adding keywords, extensions from provided structures or templates).
Make minor budget and bid changes as directed by the Google Ads Manager.
Perform daily/weekly account checks (disapproved ads, limited by budget, tracking issues, sudden drops in impressions or conversions).
Reporting and monitoring
Pull performance reports from Google Ads and Analytics (CTR, CPC, CPA, conversions, etc.).
Update report templates and dashboards with fresh data.
Flag notable changes or anomalies to the Google Ads Manager (e.g., big jumps in cost, conversions going down, new disapprovals).
Google support, policy, and verification
Open and manage support tickets with Google for disapprovals, policy questions, and technical issues.
Handle verification processes (business, advertiser, identity) following internal SOPs.
Keep organized records of all support interactions and outcomes.
Landing page and tracking support
Make minor edits to existing landing pages in Instapage, Unbounce, Webflow, and WordPress (text changes, image swaps, simple layout tweaks).
Add or update tracking scripts, pixels, and tags as instructed (e.g., Google tags, conversion tracking).
Nice-to-have: Help build new landing pages using templates or builders under guidance from the team.
Requirements
5+ years of full-time experience in a digital marketing, advertising, or virtual assistant role with regular exposure to Google Ads.
Comfortable working inside Google Ads: navigating the interface, updating campaigns, pulling data, and following clear instructions.
Basic understanding of performance metrics (impressions, clicks, CTR, CPC, conversions, CPA).
Experience with at least one of the following: Instapage, Unbounce, Webflow, or WordPress; able to make minor content and layout edits.
Basic HTML/CSS knowledge sufficient for small changes and troubleshooting simple layout issues.
Strong English communication skills (written and spoken).
Reliable internet connection and ability to work with some overlap in US business hours.
Nice-to-Have
Experience assisting with Google Ads account issues, policy disapprovals, or verification processes.
Prior work in an agency or in a support/assistant role for media buyers or marketing managers.
Experience building landing pages from templates and following simple CRO best practices.
Personal Attributes
Very detail-oriented and organized; comfortable working with numbers and checklists.
Follows instructions and SOPs accurately, but asks questions when something is unclear.
Responsive, reliable, and able to meet deadlines.
