We're a fast-scaling DTC ecommerce brand doing 8 figures in revenue. We're looking for a Google Ads Specialist to own and optimize our paid search and shopping campaigns. This is a hands-on, execution-heavy role. You'll be in the account daily, making decisions that directly impact revenue. WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Build, manage, and optimize Google Ads campaigns across Search, Shopping, Performance Max, Display, and YouTube
- Monitor daily spend, ROAS, CPA, and conversion metrics -- flag issues before they become problems
- Conduct keyword research, build out ad groups, write ad copy, and manage negative keyword lists
- Set up and manage Performance Max campaigns including asset groups, audience signals, and feed optimization
- Manage Google Merchant Center -- troubleshoot feed errors, optimize product titles and descriptions for Shopping performance
- A/B test ad copy, landing pages, bidding strategies, and audience segments
- Build and maintain campaign reporting dashboards (Google Sheets, Looker Studio, or similar)
- Provide weekly performance reports with clear insights and action items -- not just numbers
- Collaborate with the creative and marketing team on ad assets, landing page recommendations, and promotional campaign setup
- Stay current on Google Ads platform updates, beta features, and best practices
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 2 years hands-on experience managing Google Ads for ecommerce (DTC preferred)
- Proven experience with Performance Max, Shopping, and Search campaigns
- Strong understanding of Google Merchant Center and product feed optimization
- Comfortable with data -- you can pull insights from Google Ads, GA4, and Google Sheets without hand-holding
- Experience with bid strategies (tROAS, tCPA, Max Conversions) and knowing when to use which
- Ability to manage budgets ranging from $10K-$100K+/month
- Strong written English -- you'll be writing ad copy and communicating with the team daily
- Self-starter who doesn't need to be micromanaged -- you see a problem, you fix it
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience with Shopify-based ecommerce brands
- Familiarity with Meta Ads or TikTok Ads (cross-channel understanding)
- Experience with Google Ads scripts or automated rules
- Knowledge of attribution modeling and how Google fits into a multi-channel media mix
- Google Ads certification
