JOB OVERVIEW

Company: Mill Creek Marketing
Location: Remote
Schedule: Approximately 20–25 hours per week, Monday–Friday, with agreed-upon availability during 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Central Time
Pay: $8–$12 per hour, depending on demonstrated experience
Growth: Opportunity to move into a full-time role

THE ROLE:

Mill Creek Marketing is hiring a highly capable GoHighLevel & Marketing Systems Technical Specialist to build, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the technical systems behind our clients’ marketing and sales operations.
This is not a beginner role or a basic virtual assistant position.

YOU WILL OWN WORK ACROSS:

-GoHighLevel

-Websites and landing pages

-Domains, DNS, and hosting

-Forms and integrations

-Email and SMS automation

-Conversion tracking and attribution

-Meta and Google advertising infrastructure

We are looking for someone who understands how these systems work together, not someone who only knows how to complete isolated tasks from a checklist.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU:

You will receive:

-$8–$12 per hour, based on experience

-Approximately 20–25 hours per week

-The opportunity to grow into a full-time role

-Direct access to agency leadership

-Existing templates, snapshots, workflows, and processes

-Training and professional-development resources

-Increasing ownership as you prove yourself

-A long-term position with a growing agency

This role will begin as an independent contractor position.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

WITHIN GOHIGHLEVEL:

-Building complete CRM systems for new clients

-Creating pipelines, workflows, triggers, tags, smart lists, and custom fields

-Deploying email, SMS, nurture, and database-reactivation campaigns

-Configuring calendars, forms, lead routing, notifications, and A2P

-Testing complete workflows before launch

-Troubleshooting broken or inefficient automations

WITHIN WEBSITES & TECHNICAL INFRASTRUCTURE:

-Building landing pages in GoHighLevel and WordPress

-Connecting forms, calendars, CRMs, and tracking systems

-Managing domains, subdomains, hosting, SSL, and website integrations

-Configuring and troubleshooting DNS records, including A, CNAME, TXT, and MX records

-Embedding scripts and ensuring pages work properly across desktop and mobile

-Diagnosing plugin, form, domain, hosting, and page-performance issues

WITHIN TRACKING & ATTRIBUTION:

-Installing and verifying Meta Pixel events

-Supporting Meta Conversions API implementation

-Configuring Google Tag Manager and Google Ads conversions

-Troubleshooting missing, duplicate, or inaccurate events

-Managing UTMs and lead-source tracking

-Connecting attribution tools such as Cometly or Hyros

-Testing the complete journey from advertisement click to CRM opportunity

WITHIN INTEGRATIONS & OPTIMIZATIONS:

-Building integrations using Zapier, Make, webhooks, and native connections

-Troubleshooting failed automations and data-transfer issues

-Identifying opportunities to simplify and improve systems

-Creating clear documentation and Loom walkthroughs

-Keeping client accounts organized and understandable

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE:

You are succeeding when:

-New-client systems and campaigns launch on time
-Websites, forms, calendars, and workflows are tested before launch
-Tracking is installed correctly and verified
-Technical problems are caught before they affect clients
-Accounts are clean, organized, and documented
-Tasks move forward without repeated follow-up from leadership
-You communicate blockers early and bring proposed solutions
-You regularly identify ways to improve our systems and client experience

THIS ROLE IS FOR YOU IF:

You:

-Have substantial hands-on GoHighLevel experience
-Have built complete CRM and automation systems
-Are comfortable with WordPress, domains, hosting, DNS, forms, and integrations
-Understand Meta Pixel, CAPI, GTM, Google Ads conversion tracking, and UTMs
-Have worked with Cometly, Hyros, or a similar attribution platform
-Have used Zapier, Make, webhooks, or APIs
-Understand the technical backend of Meta and Google advertising
-Know how to thoroughly quality-check your own work
-Are exceptionally organized, resourceful, and detail-oriented
-Can independently investigate and resolve technical problems
-Communicate clearly in written and spoken English
-Handle direct feedback without defensiveness
-Take responsibility for outcomes, not merely assigned tasks

You do not need to know every platform perfectly. You do need strong foundational experience and the ability to learn unfamiliar systems quickly.

THIS ROLE IS NOT FOR YOU IF:

You:

-Are a beginner in GoHighLevel
-Need every step explained to you
-Rush through work without testing it
-Frequently miss details or submit work that requires correction
-Disappear without communicating
-Wait until a deadline is missed to raise a blocker
-Give up when a technical answer is not immediately obvious
-Take constructive feedback personally
-Only want to complete tickets without owning the result

COMMUNICATION EXPECTATIONS:

You will be expected to:

-Check Slack and ClickUp each working day
-Respond reliably during your agreed-upon Central Time hours
-Communicate professionally & clearly w/ clients as needed
-Keep tasks, deadlines, and progress updated
-Communicate blockers early
-Explain what you have already investigated when requesting help
-Document important technical changes

HOW TO APPLY

Send us a message (on this job board, NOT an email please) with the subject line: Ricky Bobby Tech Specialist

Include your resume and any relevant screenshots, references, or portfolio links.

Record a personalized 3–5 minute Loom video where you:

-Introduce yourself and your background.
-Explain your experience with GoHighLevel.
-Describe your experience with WordPress, domains, DNS, hosting, forms, and integrations.
-Explain your experience with Meta Pixel, CAPI, GTM, Google Ads tracking, and attribution.
