Job Overview
We are seeking an expert-level GoHighLevel (GHL) Builder & Automation Specialist to help design, build, and optimize a robust, scalable CRM system inside GoHighLevel. You must be able to use the marketers tool.

This role is not for beginners, funnel-only builders, or snapshot-only users. We are building a structured, long-term CRM environment and require someone with a deep understanding of GoHighLevel’s advanced features, automation logic, and CRM architecture.

In this role, you will work closely with the Product Owner and CRM Architect to translate system requirements into clean, reliable, and scalable builds within GoHighLevel. Candidates must have hands-on experience using GoHighLevel’s marketer tools to customize and configure the platform.

Key Responsibilities

GoHighLevel CRM Development

Build, customize, and manage CRM systems within GoHighLevel.

Create and maintain pipelines, opportunity stages, custom fields, tags, and structured contact data.

Configure user roles, permissions, and access levels as needed.

Maintain clean organization, naming conventions, and consistency across the system.

Automation & Workflow Development
5. Build advanced workflows using triggers, conditions, and actions.
6. Implement tag-based and pipeline-based automation logic.
7. Configure time delays, branching paths, safeguards, and fail-safes.
8. Prevent automation conflicts, loops, duplicate actions, and system errors.
9. Optimize workflows for performance, reliability, and scalability.

Integrations & System Setup
10. Configure and manage integrations including calendars, forms, Stripe, and related system components.
11. Build and manage integrations using Zapier and/or webhooks when applicable.
12. Troubleshoot and resolve automation and integration issues efficiently.

Testing, Quality Control & Documentation
13. Test workflows end-to-end prior to launch.
14. Identify edge cases, logic gaps, and system risks.
15. Resolve issues thoroughly and promptly.
16. Document workflows, automations, and system logic clearly so future tea ---------- mbers can easily understand and maintain the system.

Required Skills & Experience

Must-Have Qualifications:

Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience using GoHighLevel at an advanced level.

Strong understanding of workflows, automation logic, triggers, conditions, and actions.

Proven experience working with pipelines, tags, custom fields, and CRM data structures.

Demonstrated experience building full CRM systems, not just funnels or landing pages.

Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and fix broken or conflicting automations.

High attention to detail with strong system-thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Nice-to-Have (Not Required):

Agency-level GoHighLevel experience.

Zapier or webhook integration experience.

Experience integrating GoHighLevel with WordPress or other external platforms.

Experience working in financial services, tax, or other highly structured industries.

This Role Is Not a Fit For:

Beginners or individuals still learning GoHighLevel.

Funnel-only or snapshot-only builders.

VAs who require step-by-step instructions for every task.

Candidates without real-world automation and CRM build experience.

Work Details

Remote position.
Must have working overlap with U.S. Eastern Time.
This is a long-term opportunity for the right candidate.
Paid hourly (rate based on experience).
