JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a highly creative and technically capable Generative AI Visual Artist who can create photorealistic AI characters, environments, imagery, and video content at a professional production level.

This is not a traditional graphic design position. We are specifically looking for someone who already works hands-on with generative AI tools for image and video creation and understands how to turn a creative brief into polished, realistic, production-ready visual assets.

Your main responsibility will be helping create the visual identity, expressions, environments, and overall presence of AI-powered digital characters. The goal is to make these characters feel believable, consistent, polished, and visually engaging across different images, scenes, poses, and video sequences.

You will create high-quality, photorealistic character assets, facial expressions, poses, backgrounds, and environments. You will use generative AI image and video tools to explore creative concepts, iterate quickly, and produce final visuals that meet a clear creative direction.

A major part of this role is maintaining character consistency. You should understand how to keep the same character recognizable across different camera angles, expressions, poses, clothing, environments, and sequences. You should be comfortable using conditioning, reference images, control techniques, and other methods that help maintain composition, character identity, and visual style.

You will also work extensively with generative video. You should have practical experience with image-to-video, video-to-video, AI motion generation, and similar workflows. We are looking for someone who understands how to create believable movement while maintaining visual quality and character consistency across a sequence.

You should also be capable of taking AI-generated output beyond the initial generation. This may include improving lighting, perspective, composition, realism, continuity, and overall quality. You should be comfortable identifying AI artifacts and inconsistencies and correcting them through multimodal editing, compositing, retouching, digital painting, or other finishing techniques.

The ideal candidate has strong professional experience creating visual content in areas such as film, VFX, animation, gaming, digital art, advertising, or another high-quality visual production environment. Direct experience working professionally with generative AI imagery and video is strongly preferred.

You should have an excellent visual eye and a strong understanding of composition, lighting, color, perspective, camera angles, lenses, depth, and continuity. We need someone who can look critically at their own work, quickly identify what does not look right, and continue refining it until the final result reaches a high quality standard.

Experience with node-based AI workflows or production pipelines is highly valuable. You should be comfortable experimenting with different tools, building repeatable workflows, testing new AI platforms, and finding better ways to consistently produce high-quality visual assets.

Experience with tools related to AI avatars, generative video, voice, or conversational AI is also a plus. Familiarity with platforms such as Tavus, Anam, LemonSlice, ElevenLabs, Cartesia, or similar technologies would be helpful, but we are also open to candidates who have strong experience with other advanced AI image and video tools.

We care much more about the quality of your work than a specific degree. A strong portfolio showing photorealistic AI imagery, consistent AI characters, AI-generated video, motion work, VFX, animation, or similar visual production will be one of the most important parts of your application.

You should be creative, detail-oriented, highly comfortable experimenting with new technology, and able to work independently while also collaborating with product, design, and marketing teams. You should be willing to test ideas quickly, accept feedback, refine your work, and continuously improve your creative process.

This is a remote opportunity with flexibility depending on the right candidate and may be structured as part-time or full-time.
