Job Overview
ACS Electrical WA is looking for a highly organized, proactive, and reliable General Virtual Assistant to support daily administrative operations, internal systems, and content related tasks. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both structured administrative work and creative tasks like content organization and blog publishing.
You will work closely with the team to help maintain smooth business operations, organize project information, support internal systems, and assist with basic marketing tasks such as blog posting and content generation.
This role requires someone who is detail oriented, dependable, and able to manage multiple tasks while maintaining strong organization.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support
• Organize and maintain company documents, folders, and internal files
• Assist with creating, editing, and formatting documents, reports, and spreadsheets
• Maintain organized digital records for projects, tasks, and internal documentation
• Help track tasks and ensure important items are completed on schedule
Operations Support
• Assist with managing and organizing work orders and job information within the company project management system (Fergus)
• Update project details, notes, and documentation for electrical jobs
• Help maintain organized job records for estimates, invoices, and project files
• Support internal operational workflows and documentation
Scheduling and Coordination
• Assist with scheduling meetings and managing calendars
• Help coordinate internal team communications and follow ups
• Track task progress and assist in ensuring deadlines are met
Content and Blog Support
• Assist with drafting and organizing blog posts related to electrical services, industry topics, and company updates
• Publish blog posts on the company website or CMS platform
• Format blog articles to ensure readability and proper structure
• Conduct basic research for blog topics related to electrical services and industry trends
• Repurpose existing content for website posts, newsletters, or social media
• Assist with organizing a content calendar for blog publishing
Content Generation and Marketing Support
• Help generate simple written content for blogs, website updates, and internal materials
• Assist with formatting and uploading website content
• Support basic SEO practices such as adding headings, keywords, and meta descriptions to blog posts
• Assist in organizing marketing assets and content folders
General Business Support
• Conduct research for operational, marketing, or administrative needs
• Assist in documenting company processes and internal workflows
• Help maintain organization across operational systems and digital tools
• Provide general virtual assistance to support the team as needed
Requirements
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal English communication
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Comfortable using online tools, documents, and spreadsheets
• Reliable internet connection and professional working environment
