JOB OVERVIEW

We're a short-form video agency working with US-based stand-up comedians. We take their existing footage and distribute it across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube. We need one person to own our YouTube long-form pipeline and the file operations behind it. This is a long-term role. Our team stays with us.

What you'll do:
- Download new footage from comedians, organize it into client folders, and log it in Airtable
- Prep raw shows before they enter our system, cut out segments the client doesn't want online, fix bad audio, clean up visual issues so the show is ready to work with
- Compress video files and extract audio from shows for transcription
- Create YouTube long-form videos for clients, including thumbnails
- Upload and publish long-form videos with titles and descriptions
- Create monthly extra content plans for clients from our template
- Keep our Airtable and ---------- records updated as you work

What we need:
- Very fast, very stable internet. This is the single most important requirement. You will download and upload large video files multiple times per week. If your connection is slow or drops, this job will not work.
- A computer that can handle editing and large video files, with enough storage for them
- Editing experience: you can cut segments out of a long video cleanly, improve bad audio, and fix visual problems
- You can follow a written SOP exactly without needing it re-explained
- Comfortable learning cloud tools: Google Drive, Airtable, ----------
- Good written English
- Organized and detail-oriented, file naming and folder structure matter a lot here

Nice to have:
- An understanding of viral content strategy, what makes content perform and why
- Experience managing or uploading to YouTube channels
- Thumbnail design experience
- You know American stand-up comedy

Hours and pay:
- 20–25 hours per week to start, flexible scheduling. More hours as we grow
- $3/hour to start, paid weekly every Monday via Wise
- Rate increases once you're fully trained
- Paid training while you learn our systems
