JOB OVERVIEW

About the Role

We are seeking a driven eCommerce General Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, lead our remote team, and keep our overall business growing and profitable.

This role blends big-picture business management with operational oversight. You will bridge the gap between team management, strategy, logistics, and financial tracking—making sure our entire eCommerce engine runs smoothly while driving key business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Business & Team Oversight: Lead, guide, and support department leads across customer support, logistics, and marketing.

Financial Oversight: Monitor profit margins, cash flow, budgets, and operational costs.

Operational Control: Ensure daily order fulfillment, supplier management, and system workflows remain efficient.

Strategic Growth: Partner with ownership to execute growth plans, product launches, and operational improvements.

Job Qualifications

eCommerce Experience: 3 to 5 years of solid experience in eCommerce (eCommerce ecosystems, shipping/logistics, and local market trends). Australian market experience is a plus.

Leadership Track Record: Proven experience managing, mentoring, and holding remote teams accountable.

Financial Literacy: A strong background in accounting is highly preferred; candidates with a general business management background and solid practical accounting know-how are also welcome to apply.

Business Acumen & Organization: Sharp decision-making skills, great attention to detail, and top-tier organizational abilities.

Tech Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), task management tools, and standard eCommerce back-end systems. Must also be ready to learn new systems.

Communication Skills: Excellent written and spoken English with the ability to communicate clearly across all levels of the business. Knowing how to communicate in Chinese is a plus.
