About the Role
We are seeking a highly analytical, organized, and detail-oriented General Accountant to oversee our full-cycle accounting functions and safeguard the integrity of our financial ecosystem. In this role, you will lead day-to-day fiscal operations, drive robust monthly financial reporting, and manage end-to-end closing activities while ensuring strict compliance with regulatory accounting standards.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
As our General Accountant, you will manage a comprehensive spectrum of financial and general accounting functions, including:
* Full-Cycle Accounting: Manage and optimize day-to-day general accounting workflows leveraging QuickBooks and Odoo.
* Reconciliations & Ledger Integrity: Execute meticulous monthly bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations; diligently maintain and adjust the general ledger.
* Financial Reporting: Prepare, analyze, and deliver accurate financial records, trial balances, and monthly financial statements to stakeholders.
* Period-End Closings: Coordinate and streamline month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing cycles.
* Tax & Vendor Compliance: Manage 1099 filings, maintain accurate vendor W-8 records, and oversee routine tax compliance documentation.
* Internal Controls: Support internal audit tracking, monitor adherence to financial compliance standards, and proactively identify opportunities to optimize accounting processes.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams and leadership to provide accurate financial insights, data analysis, and operational support.
What We’re Looking For (Requirements)
* Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive, hands-on general accounting experience.
* Accounting Standards: Thorough, extensive experience working with US GAAP is strictly required.
* Software Expertise: Advanced proficiency and daily operational familiarity with QuickBooks is required.
* Industry Background: Prior accounting experience within manufacturing or inventory-based environments is highly preferred.
* Credentials: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is highly required.
* Core Competencies: Exceptional organizational discipline, razor-sharp attention to detail, robust problem-solving capabilities, and the autonomy to manage competing deadlines seamlessly.
