This role sits within our fundraising practice, which supports both fund development and grant acquisition for nonprofits and social-impact clients. We also help organizations plan and execute donor engagement campaigns and build systems to attract and retain supporters.

Position Overview
The Fundraising & Grant Specialist supports the development of fundraising campaigns, grant proposals, and donor strategies across multiple channels. This includes researching and applying for funding opportunities, preparing compelling content, and helping to execute digital campaigns that drive engagement and contributions.

Key Responsibilities
Identify and qualify donor prospects, foundation grants, and federal/state funding opportunities for both clients and RLW Consulting.
Write and edit grant proposals, donor appeals, concept notes, and campaign copy
Support
Assist with
Manage your own proposal and campaign schedules, set milestones, track deadlines, and ensure on-time delivery.
Maintain grant tracking records in Bitrix24, and support post-award reporting, compliance tracking, and grant performance documentation.
Develop budgets, PowerPoint decks, and progress reports for submissions and campaigns.
Manage data and pipelines in CRM and fundraising software, ensuring records are accurate and up to date.
Demonstrate understanding of federal grant structures (e.g., NSF SBIR/STTR, DOE, USDA, NIH, HUD, DOT) and registration or submission processes.
Use AI tools for formatting, data collection, or structure only; final writing must be performed and edited independently. Research should be drawn from multiple credible sources and verified by a human.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Development Studies, Business, or related field.
GPC (Grant Professional Certified) or CFRE (Certified Fundraising Executive) certification preferred.
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in fundraising, grant writing, or digital campaign development.
Demonstrated success in securing competitive foundation, corporate, or federal grants.
Experience with fundraising and marketing tools such as Salesforce, Blackbaud, Foundant, Mailchimp, HubSpot, or Meta Business Suite.
Understanding of digital marketing techniques??
Familiarity with
Excellent English writing and editing skills with impeccable grammar and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Bitrix24 (or similar CRM).
Proven ability to self-manage projects, set schedules, and meet deadlines independently.
Experience developing and maintaining content libraries or campaign templates preferred.
