We are looking for someone who already understands how lending and funding work. We will train you on our systems, lenders, and processes, but we are not looking to teach someone the funding industry from scratch.
ABOUT ALTURA FUNDING
Altura Funding is a US-based funding company helping consumers, business owners, and real estate investors access capital through multiple lending products.
We are hiring a full-time Funding Specialist to help manage the day-to-day work required to move clients from onboarding through funding.
WHAT THIS ROLE IS
This is NOT a sales position.
You will also NOT be the primary relationship manager for the client.
Our Funding Director handles most face-to-face client communication, funding strategy calls, major conversations, approvals, escalations, and relationship management.
You will handle much of the day-to-day legwork required behind the scenes to keep each client moving.
Think of yourself as the person responsible for keeping the funding file moving.
You will gather documents, request missing information, update clients on what is needed, update the client app and CRM, prepare submissions, submit applications, track lender responses, clear conditions, follow up with lenders, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks.
You WILL communicate with clients frequently through messages,
WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Review every new client's file after onboarding
• Review credit, income, banking information, business information, and supporting documentation
• Determine which documents and information are still needed
• Contact clients to request missing documents or information
• Follow up consistently until required documents are received
• Keep clients updated on the status of their file
• Update the client app with progress, outstanding requirements, next steps, and important status changes
• Keep GoHighLevel and our internal systems updated throughout the entire funding process
• Organize bank statements, tax returns, identification, business documents, financial statements, and other lender requirements
• Prepare complete funding packages for submission
• Submit applications to banks, lenders, and funding partners
• Track every application after submission
• Follow up with lenders on pending applications
• Track approvals, denials, conditions, document requests, and underwriting updates
• Request additional documents from clients when lenders require them
• Clear lender conditions as quickly as possible
• Make sure the Funding Director always has an accurate picture of where every client stands
• Escalate problems, unusual situations, and important decisions to the Funding Director
• Coordinate with the Funding Director when a client needs a strategy conversation or face-to-face meeting
• Keep detailed notes so anyone on the team can open a file and immediately understand its current status
• Make sure no application, document request, lender follow-up, or client update gets missed
• Help move clients from onboarding to submission to approval to funding as efficiently as possible
CLIENT COMMUNICATION
There IS a significant amount of client communication in this position.
The difference is the TYPE of communication.
You will handle much of the operational communication:
• Requesting documents
• Following up on missing documents
• Telling clients what information is still needed
• Providing application status updates
• Updating the client app
• Communicating lender requirements
• Requesting additional information after underwriting
• Keeping clients informed about next steps
• Making sure clients complete required tasks
The Funding Director will primarily handle:
• Face-to-face client meetings
• Funding strategy calls
• Complex funding discussions
• Presenting and explaining major approvals or offers
• Client escalations
• Difficult conversations
• Overall relationship management
Your role is to do the legwork and keep everything moving so the Funding Director can focus on strategy, approvals, and higher-level client conversations.
COMPENSATION
Base Salary: $150 per week
Funded Deal Bonuses: $15 to $100 per funded deal, depending on deal type and funding volume.
The more deals you successfully help move through the funding process, the greater your bonus opportunity.

SCHEDULE
• Full-time position
• Monday through Friday
• US Eastern Time business hours
• Long-term position
• Time Doctor tracking is required during working hours
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
REQUIRED:
• Previous experience in banking, lending, business funding, credit, loan processing, underwriting support, or financial services
• Experience working with borrower documentation
• Understanding of the lending process from application through funding
• Strong written and spoken English
• Comfortable communicating with US-based clients
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong follow-up skills
• Highly organized
• Comfortable requesting documents repeatedly when necessary
• Able to manage a large number of active files at once
• Able to keep detailed and accurate CRM records
• Able to follow lender guidelines and internal processes
• Self-managed and proactive
• Reliable computer, internet connection, and quiet workspace
• Available during US Eastern Time business hours

If something is holding up a deal, you identify it and get the right person involved.
The Funding Director handles the higher-level relationship and strategy. You handle the day-to-day execution that keeps every deal moving toward funding.
