JOB OVERVIEW

We are an American insurance brokerage looking for an experienced Insurance Virtual Assistant based in the Philippines to support our daily agency operations.

The ideal candidate must have experience working with a US insurance agency or brokerage and should be familiar with NowCerts or a similar insurance agency management system.

Responsibilities

The Insurance VA will help with:

Creating and processing Certificates of Insurance / COIs

Using NowCerts or a similar agency management system

Quoting through different carrier portals

Completing and understanding ACORD application forms

Following up with clients by email and phone

Requesting missing documents or information from clients

Updating client records and policy information

Supporting producers, account managers, and agency staff

Handling administrative insurance tasks accurately and on time

Requirements

Experience with a US insurance agency or brokerage

Knowledge of NowCerts is preferred

Experience with similar agency management systems is also acceptable

Familiarity with ACORD forms

Experience creating Certificates of Insurance

Ability to use different insurance carrier portals

Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal

Excellent attention to detail

Reliable, organized, and able to follow instructions

Comfortable working during US business hours or partial US hours

Preferred Experience

Commercial insurance experience

Experience supporting producers or account managers

Experience with COIs, endorsements, renewals, applications, and client follow-ups

Knowledge of insurance documents, policy terms, and agency workflows
