About KeldCo
We’re a fast?growing Australian DIY home security brand (solar cameras, 4G cameras, doorbells, alarm kits) that all work on our own Australian designed app doing 7?figures in revenue and scaling aggressively. Our customers are everyday Aussies protecting their homes without monthly fees.
We run Meta and Google ads heavily and now want a dedicated editor to turn our customer + creator content into high?performing ads.
Role Summary
Your job:
Take our raw UGC, creator clips, and product footage and turn them into direct?response ads for Meta / Reels / Shorts using a hook ? meat ? CTA assembly style. Expect high volume and lots of variations, not one “perfect” brand film.
This is a full?time, long?term role.
What You’ll Do
First 30 days (trial):
Audit and organize our existing footage library (past ads, UGC, product demos, founder videos).
Cut “meats” (core clips) from existing content and turn them into:
Short?form vertical ads (10–60s, 9:16).
Multiple versions using different hooks / text / CTAs.
Deliver 15–20 base edits/week plus variants.
After ramp?up (ongoing):
Consistently produce 20–30 base edits/week and 100+ ad variations/week from hooks × meats × CTAs.
Edit UGC from customers & creators into testimonial, demo, comparison, and story?style ads.
Create simple faceless proof ads from reviews, screenshots, and chat snippets.
Make fast iterations on winning concepts based on performance data (hook rate, watch time, CTR, CAC).
Export for different placements (Reels, Stories, Feed, Shorts).
Success Metrics (KPIs)
Output: number of edited ads per week (base + variants).
Speed: on?time delivery of weekly batches.
Performance: % of creatives that hit or beat target CAC / ROAS (we’ll share benchmarks).
Organization: clean folder structure and naming for all assets.
Our goal is to have you as a key part of the acquisition pod, helping us advertise profitably at scale.
Requirements:
1–2+ years editing short?form social ads (TikTok / Reels / Meta).
Strong portfolio with e?commerce or UGC?style ads (not just montages or weddings).
You understand direct?response editing: strong hooks, retention, clear offer, simple CTAs.
Confident adding captions, headlines, and simple motion/graphics that help sell.
Proficient in Premiere / Final Cut / DaVinci (CapCut as a bonus, not as the only tool).
Stable internet + computer that can handle 4K.
Nice to have:
Experience with security / hardware / DTC brands.
Familiarity with basic ad metrics.
Compensation & Hours
Full?time: 40 hrs/week, remote.
Salary: $10–$15 AUD/hour depending on experience.
Performance bonuses for “winner” ads that beat our targets.
