JOB OVERVIEW

HIRING: Full-Time YouTube Video Editor (Long-Form Content)

Remote / Overseas

We’re hiring a full-time YouTube editor to produce long-form videos for an entrepreneurship and business channel.

The channel focuses on building real businesses from the ground up, including:

• Airbnb / Real Estate
• Consumer Product Brands
• Restaurants & Breweries
• Entrepreneurship & Business Strategy

This is a 40-hour/week role focused primarily on long-form YouTube videos (8–20 minutes).

This is not a part-time editing role.
We are looking for someone who can own the editing process and help improve the storytelling of each video.

Please email your resume and portfolio to apply.

What You’ll Do

• Edit long-form YouTube videos (8–20 minutes)
• Turn raw footage into clear, engaging stories
• Improve pacing and viewer retention throughout the video
• Cut filler and tighten dialogue
• Add B-roll, images, charts, and visual context when helpful
• Add captions, graphics, and motion elements where appropriate
• Source supporting visuals when needed
• Help structure videos so they hold viewer attention

You will also:

• Create YouTube Shorts from long-form content
• Prepare videos for upload
• Export final files for YouTube publishing
• Collaborate on improving video structure and storytelling

What You Must Have

• Strong experience editing YouTube long-form videos

• Portfolio showing high-quality storytelling and pacing

• Proficiency in:

Premiere Pro
Final Cut
CapCut
DaVinci Resolve

(or similar professional editing software)

• Understanding of YouTube viewer retention

• Ability to edit clean, professional content (not over-edited)

• Strong English comprehension

• Reliable internet and consistent availability

• Ability to overlap 3–4 hours daily with U.S. Eastern Time

What This Role Is NOT

? Not part-time
? Not a beginner role
? Not just cutting clips together
? Not a “learning on the job” position

You should already know how to edit engaging YouTube content.

What Success Looks Like

• Videos are delivered on schedule
• Editing improves pacing and clarity
• Viewer retention improves over time
• Videos feel professional and engaging
• Leadership doesn’t need to micromanage edits

How to Apply

Please send:
1. A short summary of your YouTube editing experience
2. Links to videos you’ve personally edited
3. The software you use for editing
4. Any examples of long-form content (10+ minutes) you’ve edited
