JOB OVERVIEW

We are a small but growing digital media company operating two content websites: Stretch Recipes ( ---------- ), a food and recipe site, and Anglerwise, a fishing niche site focused on trout and bass fishing. We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to help us grow both sites through consistent social media activity and content publishing.

What You'll Be Doing

For both sites you will be responsible for:

Creating and scheduling Pinterest pins daily (10-15 pins per day per site) using Canva
Publishing and scheduling content on Facebook pages
Publishing new articles to WordPress following our step-by-step SOP (training provided)
Researching trending topics and content ideas in both niches
Engaging with followers and building community presence across platforms

Who We're Looking For

Proven experience managing Pinterest accounts, especially in food, lifestyle, or hobby niches
Comfortable using Canva to create visually appealing pins
Familiar with WordPress for basic article publishing
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written SOPs
Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Good written English communication skills
Bonus: experience with Facebook group engagement or community management

Important: Application Requirements

To be considered for this role you must complete the following as part of your application:

Create 2 sample Pinterest pins using Canva — one for a rice recipe and one for a fishing tip. Submit the Canva links or image files with your application.
Write 3 sample Pinterest pin descriptions (one sentence each) for the following topics: crispy rice recipes, easy weeknight dinners, bass fishing tips.
Tell us about a Pinterest account you have managed previously — include the account handle and describe what you did to grow it.

Applications without the Canva test task will not be reviewed.

Details

Full time: approximately 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday
Pay: $500 per month
Payment via: Wise
Start date: immediate
