JOB OVERVIEW

We're a US-based content team producing daily short-form and long-form video for a real estate brand. We're hiring one full-time editor who can cut fast and build motion graphics at a high level — not two people, one person who does both well.

What you'll do

Edit short-form reels for IG, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts — pacing, hooks, retention edits
Cut long-form YouTube videos and podcast episodes from multicam footage
Build your own motion graphics in After Effects: animated titles, callouts, stat overlays, document reveals, map animations
Handle color, audio cleanup, and sound design so the edit ships finished
Track, mask, and roto in AE when a shot needs it
Build reusable templates and presets the rest of the editing team can pull from

Requirements

3+ years editing professionally in Premiere Pro
Elite After Effects skills — you build your graphics from scratch, you're not dropping in purchased templates
Strong keyframe and easing control; your animation should feel designed, not default
Story instinct: you know why a cut lands and can defend the choice
Photoshop/Illustrator for assets
Excellent spoken and written English — daily WhatsApp threads and video calls
Internet: 50 Mbps down / 20 Mbps up minimum, wired, with a backup plan
Machine that runs AE without crashing (16GB RAM minimum, 32GB preferred)
Full-time, 40 hrs/week, with overlap into US Central business hours

Nice to have

Element 3D, Trapcode Suite, or C4D Lite
Expressions / basic scripting
Experience editing for a personal brand or creator channel

Pay: $5–$7/hour depending on skill, paid weekly. Long-term role with raises based on performance.
