JOB OVERVIEW

We are a content creator and licensed private investigator brand producing daily video content across multiple niche services. We are hiring one full-time video editor for a long-term role. This position is for one dedicated person only. We are not looking for agencies or multiple contractors.

You will edit short-form vertical videos for YouTube Shorts, Facebook, TikTok, Instagram Reels, Threads, and Pinterest. Short-form content is produced daily across our niches using raw footage we provide. Your work will include adding burned-in captions, hook text, emojis where appropriate, light sound effects, and clean transitions. Edits should be fast-paced, clear, and focused on attention retention without being overproduced.

You will also edit long-form horizontal videos for YouTube and Facebook. This includes trimming raw footage, cleaning audio, adding light B-roll, on-screen callouts, and subtle zooms. For long-form content, we will either provide the YouTube title, description, and thumbnail, or supply them in a Google Doc for you to use. You will upload finished long-form videos to the correct YouTube channels and Facebook pages for each niche.

All files are organized in Google Drive using a clear folder system, naming rules, and templates. You will download raw footage from Drive, upload finished edits back to Drive, and schedule short-form videos through Buffer using the provided descriptions, hooks, and hashtags. CapCut is preferred, but Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve are also acceptable.

This is a high-volume but structured role with clear instructions and repeatable workflows. Short-form editing is daily, and long-form videos are assigned in organized batches. This is a full-time, ongoing position. We value consistency, reliability, and organization more than flashy effects.

You should have proven experience editing short-form vertical content for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook Reels, and YouTube Shorts. Strong English comprehension is required for captions and hooks. You must be highly organized, able to manage bulk content, and able to follow instructions exactly. A reliable internet connection and consistent availability are required. Availability during U.S. business hours is preferred.

Turnaround expectations are same day or next day for short-form edits and two to three days per batch for long-form videos.
