JOB OVERVIEW

My name is Niko, and we’re building and scaling a network of YouTube channels across multiple high-growth niches. We’re now looking for a full-time, very highly skilled video editor who can take ownership of both editing and content execution across several formats.

This is not a basic editing role. We need someone who understands YouTube content deeply — pacing, retention, storytelling, and how to turn raw or AI-generated material into engaging, high-performing videos.

You’ll be working across:
-AI-assisted video production (using tools like Vidrush)
-Making traditional YouTube automation videos (B-roll-based videos)
-Long-form sleep and relaxation content (2+ hours)

What You’ll Be Responsible For:
-Using Vidrush (or similar AI tools) to generate videos and perform quality control on outputs
-Editing and refining AI-generated content to a high standard
-Creating your own videos using B-roll, storytelling, and strong pacing
-Producing long-form sleep content (2+ hours, ambient, consistent visuals)
-Creating the thumbnails for each videos so thumbnail experience is a MUST
-Managing uploads and basic channel operations
-Ensuring all content meets a high level of viewer engagement and retention

Content Types You’ll Work On:
1. AI with B-roll / History / Documentary Content: Example: ----------

Story-driven videos
-AI-generated reconstructions (Veo, Kling, etc.)
-B-roll + AI hybrid editing
-Educational / documentary style

2. Sleep & Long-Form Content Example: ----------

2+ hour videos
-Calm pacing and immersive storytelling
-Ambient sound design
-Consistent, loopable visuals

Position Details:
-Full-time: 40 hours per week (Monday to Saturday)
-Flexible working hours (as long as deadlines are met)

Expected output:
-1–2 videos per day(workflow might be quality control edit and 1 full edit)
-On sleep-content days: 1 long-form (2+ hour) video
-Monthly Salary: $750 USD (based on high level experience) paid on the last friday of the month
-Performance-based pay increases over time and incentives I.e for each video that achieved 100k views or more you will be paid $100 one off bonus.
-Long-term role with growth as we scale multiple channels

Requirements (Important):
-Proven experience with YouTube automation / faceless channels
-Strong understanding of retention, hooks, and pacing
-Experience with AI video tools (Vidrush or similar)
-Ability to handle high workload and fast turnaround
-Strong attention to detail (especially for quality control)
-Reliable, consistent, and able to work independently

Ideal Candidate:
-Thinks like a content creator, not just an editor
-Can spot weak sections and improve them without being told
-Comfortable working across multiple niches and formats
-Has experience with both short-form editing decisions and long-form storytelling
