JOB OVERVIEW

Luminity Productions is a premium real estate media company based in Auckland, New Zealand. We create cinematic photography and videography for real estate agents and are expanding into branding content for high end clients.

We are looking for a full time video editor who can think like a storyteller, not just a technician. You will be editing real estate listing videos, agent branding content, and social media content. This is a long term full time position, not a per project contract.

What we need from you:

Strong understanding of narrative and pacing, not just trendy cuts. You need to understand how to structure a story around an agent talking or a property being shown, so the video flows and keeps people watching.
Excellent colour grading skills. This is one of our biggest requirements. We want a consistent, cinematic colour look across all our content, so please include examples of your grading work in your portfolio.
Strong sound design skills. Clean audio mixing, music syncing, and sound effects that match the cinematic tone of the video. This matters just as much to us as the visual side.
Comfortable using AI tools within your editing workflow, for trending formats and efficiency, though this is secondary to storytelling ability.
Experience with Premiere Pro and After Effect is preferred since that is our primary editing software.
Real estate, property, or branding video experience is a strong plus but not required if your storytelling, colour, and sound work is excellent.

Please send your portfolio with an emphasis on narrative editing, colour grading, and sound design examples, plus your usual working hours so we can confirm overlap with New Zealand time.

Shortlisted applicants will be asked to complete a small paid trial edit before we move forward with hiring.
