About us
We teach kids to code, build, and play sports across 20+ schools in Hawaii. Over 1,500 of them so far.
Behind all of that is a system we built ourselves, and it's the reason our teachers can focus on students instead of spreadsheets. You'd own that system. Every workflow you build allows us to make a greater positive impact on kids.
We want someone here long term. Someone who grows as we grow and eventually owns the technical layer across all our brands and any business we add.
The stack
Airtable: students, programs, sessions, attendance, enrollment, invoicing, payroll. Our operational source of truth.
n8n (self-hosted): enrollment processing, attendance tracking, invoice generation, payroll calculation,
Softr: teacher and parent portals.
Fillout + Stripe: registration and payments.
Brevo:
Websites: multiple brand sites.
Integrations: Gmail, Slack, QuickBooks, Gusto, Mosyle.
Where we're heading: considering migrating some of our data to Supabase and building our own front end for portals instead of using Softr. You'd be part of that decision, not just the execution.
What you'll do
Own the system. You are the person responsible for it running. Monitoring, alerting, catching failures before our operations team does, and fixing production issues live during program hours.
Build. New workflows and systems, Airtable interfaces and dashboards, portal pages, registration flows. New brands launch regularly and each one needs systems stood up.
Web and marketing systems. Maintain our brand websites, build landing pages for program launches, handle basic on-page SEO (metadata, structure, page speed, sitemaps) and analytics setup.
General systems work. Integrations, data migrations and cleanup, access management, and keeping documentation current in GitHub as you build.
How our team works
We're a small remote team and we run on trust. Roughly three meetings a week, everything else async in Slack. No time tracking, no screenshots, no activity monitors. We care about whether the system works and whether things get built, not whether you were at your desk at a particular moment.
Compensation
$1,200 to $1,500 per month depending on experience. This is a salaried monthly role, not hourly. No hourly tracking. Quiet weeks and busy weeks, same pay.
Schedule
Core hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM Manila time (12pm–6pm Hawaii time). You are online and reachable during this window.
Remaining hours are flexible and async, on your own schedule. Some of those async hours will fall on weekends. Our programs run on weekends and around enrollment periods things come up. We're not asking you to sit at your desk on a Saturday, but you should be reachable and able to respond if something breaks. If a weekend gets heavy, you take that time back during the week.
Requirements
Must have:
Strong n8n experience: nodes, expressions, error handling, API integrations, self-hosted environments
Strong Airtable or relational data experience: interfaces, formulas, linked records, rollups, automations, API
Comfortable working with relational data across many interconnected tables
Solid understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and webhooks
JavaScript for code nodes, expressions, and light scripting
Able to debug production issues under pressure and communicate status clearly
Able to read technical documentation and work independently with minimal direction
Reliable internet and a quiet workspace, with genuine availability during the full core window every weekday
Nice to have:
Next.js, React, Vercel
Supabase or Postgres, including SQL
Softr, Fillout, Stripe
SEO fundamentals
Experience with Claude Code, Cursor, or similar AI-assisted development
How we work
We build with Claude Code and MCP connections that read our Airtable schema and manage n8n workflows directly. Comprehensive documentation exists for every system. You will not be reverse-engineering an undocumented mess.
Our principle: we build it, they inform it, they run it. Systems go in before people do.
Please include your portfolio in your resume. We will not review applications without a portfolio of relevant work.
