JOB OVERVIEW

Are you an experienced intake professional who wants a stable, long-term role with a growing U.S. law firm? Do you know how to put a nervous caller at ease, get the facts, and get them to the right person fast? We want you on our Social Security Disability team.

Idiart Law Group is a personal injury and Social Security Disability law firm based in Oregon. Our disability practice has doubled in the last year, and most of our new clients find us online. The intake specialist is the first voice they hear. Our team calls the busy fall intake season the Harvest, and we want you trained and ready before it peaks.

Position: Full-Time SSD Intake Specialist
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM Pacific Time, with a 30 minute lunch (40 hours per week)
Compensation: $6 per hour plus performance bonuses tied to signed clients
Start: As soon as we find the right person

What You Will Be Doing:
- Calling and texting new leads from our website, Google, and Facebook ads within minutes of them reaching out
- Answering inbound calls from people who were denied disability or need help applying
- Screening each lead: work history, medical conditions, whether they have applied before, and whether a denial deadline is running
- Explaining in plain English what the disability process looks like and what happens next
- Documenting every call and text accurately in Clio Grow
- Handing qualified leads to our hearing representatives and following up until the client is signed

What We Are Looking For:
- Legal intake, sales, or call center experience required; Social Security Disability experience strongly preferred
- Excellent spoken and written English, with a warm, patient, professional phone manner
- Persistence. Most leads do not answer the first call, and you keep going until you reach them
- Accurate, fast data entry and attention to detail
- Able to work the full Pacific Time schedule every week
- Reliable high speed internet, backup power or internet for outages, a noise cancelling headset, and a quiet workspace

- Knowledge of the Social Security Disability application and appeals process (reconsideration, hearings, the 60 day deadline)
- Experience with Clio Grow, Heymarket, Salesforce, Litify, or similar tools
