We are looking for a skilled all-around Roblox Game Developer and Scripter to join our project on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining Roblox games from the ground up, including both programming (scripting) and building tasks. This is a remote position with an hourly rate of $4 USD, ideal for someone who can work independently and handle all aspects of game development. We provide the funding and vision, and you will bring the technical expertise to life.
Responsibilities are
Develop and script new gameplay systems, mechanics, and features using Lua in Roblox Studio
This includes coding game logic, player interactions, and any needed game functionality.
Design and build game environments, levels, and assets using Roblox Studio tools. Since we do not provide pre-made assets, you will create or source models, textures, and UI elements as required.
Implement user interface (UI) and animations, and ensure interactive game elements run smoothly
Optimize scripts and game performance, and debug issues to maintain a smooth gameplay experience (identify and fix bugs, ensure minimal lag)
Stay up-to-date with Roblox platform updates and best practices to ensure the game remains compatible and takes advantage of new features
Work closely with the project owner (and any future tea
Requirements
Proficiency in both building and scripting within Roblox Studio
you should be comfortable creating game worlds as well as writing efficient Lua code.
Strong Roblox Studio and Lua programming skills, with proven experience. Please provide a portfolio or examples of your previous Roblox projects to demonstrate your work
Good understanding of the Roblox API, game physics, and client-server architecture on Roblox
Ability to write clean, maintainable code and effectively solve problems/debug issues
Attention to detail in both game design and code quality, ensuring a polished final product
Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting
You should be able to regularly update on progress and collaborate via online tools (e.g.,
Full-time availability – able to commit approximately 40 hours per week to this project.
Bonus (Optional): Experience with Roblox game monetization systems (e.g. game passes, developer products) and familiarity with version control tools like Git
