JOB OVERVIEW

ABOUT NEW FRAMES MEDIA

New Frames Media is a growing content production company on a mission to create world-class podcast and video content. We are in the early stages of building something special, and we are looking for someone who wants to grow with us from the ground floor. This is not a gig. This is the start of a long-term career opportunity with a company that rewards hustle, creativity, and ownership.

If you want to be part of building a media brand that stands out, keeps growing, and pushes creative boundaries — keep reading.

---

THE ROLE

We are hiring a full-time podcast editor who can handle both long-form podcast episodes (60–90+ minutes) and short-form clips (30–90 seconds) for platforms like YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and Instagram Reels.

You will be responsible for transforming raw podcast recordings into polished, engaging, scroll-stopping content that keeps audiences watching. This means you need to understand pacing, storytelling, audio quality, visual hooks, dynamic captions, and modern editing trends.

• Edit full-length podcast episodes (60–90+ minutes) with professional audio mixing, pacing, and storytelling
• Create 5–10+ short-form clips per episode for YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and Instagram Reels

• Type: Long-term, ongoing position
• Growth: As we grow, you grow. We are building from the ground up, and early tea ---------- mbers who prove themselves will have opportunities for raises, leadership roles, and creative ownership

---

WHO WE WANT

We are not looking for someone who clocks in, does the bare minimum, and clocks out. We want a hustler. Someone who takes pride in their craft, goes above and beyond, and treats this like their own company. If you are the type of person who sometimes puts in extra hours because you want the content to be perfect — not because someone told you to — you are our person.

New Frames Media is a startup. We are building something from scratch. That means the right person will have a massive opportunity to grow with us, take on more responsibility, and become a core part of our creative team. But it also means we need someone who can handle the pace and the pressure of early-stage growth.

---

SCHEDULE & WORKING HOURS

This is a semi-US hours position. Because our team is US-based, we need significant overlap for real-time communication. You will need to work either:

- Early morning shift: Starting around 6-8 AM PHT (Philippines Time)
- Late night shift: Working until around 12-2 AM PHT

We understand this is a commitment — that is why we are looking for someone who is serious and dedicated. Solid overlapping hours mean faster feedback, quicker turnarounds, and a stronger working relationship. This is non-negotiable.

---

HOW TO APPLY — READ CAREFULLY

If you do not follow these instructions exactly, your application will be ignored.

1. Start your message with: "I spread peanut butter on my resume." This proves you read the full listing.

2. Send your portfolio. NOT your generic reel that you send to everyone. We want to see work that is SIMILAR to what we described above. Send us your best long-form podcast edit AND your best short-form clips. If your work does not match the style and quality of Jack Neel, Open Residency, or Rob the Bank, please do not apply.

3. Include links to your work. YouTube links, Google Drive, Vimeo — we do not care where, as long as we can watch it easily. No WeTransfer links that expire. No files we have to download.

4. Tell us in 2–3 sentences: Why are you the right editor for New Frames Media? What makes you different from the hundreds of other editors on this platform?

5. Tell us which of the three reference creators (Jack Neel, Open Residency, Rob the Bank) you think has the best editing style and why. This tells us you actually went and studied their content.

6. Include your WhatsApp number so we can contact you directly for faster communication.

7. Confirm you can work semi-US hours. This role requires working early morning (starting around 6-8 AM PHT) OR late evening (until around 12-2 AM PHT) to maximize overlapping communication hours with our US-based team. We need real-time collaboration, not just async handoffs.

Applications that are clearly copy-pasted, generic, or missing any of the above will be discarded. We want to find the RIGHT person, not just any person.

---

?? IMPORTANT — READ THIS FIRST: To prove you have read this entire listing and are not mass-applying, you MUST begin your application message with the exact phrase: "I spread peanut butter on my resume." Applications that do not start with this phrase will be immediately discarded. No exceptions.
