We are a fast-growing 7-figure ecommerce brand seeking a top-tier Full-Time Video Editor to join our creative team. This role is perfect for someone who doesn’t just “edit videos,” but knows how to craft engaging, scroll-stopping content that converts.

Responsibilities:
- Edit high-performing ads and creatives tailored for ecommerce
- Add sound effects, transitions, captions, and engagement-inducing elements to motion graphics and animations to maximize viewer retention.
- Source and repurpose raw content from platforms like TikTok, YouTube, Vimeo, and across the internet — not just stock libraries.
- Constantly search through ad libraries and tools like Atria to spot winning formats and bring fresh concepts to the team for testing.
- Incorporate motion graphics, text overlays, and light animation work to enhance storytelling.
- Analyze why certain ads work (or don’t) and apply learnings to improve iterations and future creatives.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to test, iterate, and improve creative performance.
- Stay up to date with trends in direct-to-consumer (DTC) and social-first content styles. Must be prepared to bring ideas to the table in terms of ad formats that resonate organically on target audiences feed, discovered thru ad libraries, and tools like atria/foreplay
- Deliver clean, polished, professional work that drives results.
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of video editing experience in ecommerce/DTC content (portfolio required).
- Advanced proficiency in major editing tools, including:
Adobe Premiere Pro
Final Cut Pro
CapCut
After Effects
DaVinci Resolve
(or other top industry tools)
- Skilled in motion graphics and animation.
- Proven ability to find and source unique video clips and raw content across the internet.
- Must have a strong foundation with AI tools to generate supporting imagery/b-roll/hooks as needed on platforms such as Google Veo3, NanoBanana, Higgsfield AI, GPT-5, Kling, Sora, etc.
- 100% fluent in English (a call with the founder will assess grammar and fluency; accents are fine).
- Strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and structure.
- Excellent communication, responsiveness, and a true team player.
- Bonus: Copywriting experience or comfort editing scripts/voiceover copy.
