Responsibilities:
- Design high-performing static ads and creatives tailored for ecommerce
- Create compelling brand assets for our website including hero banners, product pages, landing pages, and promotional graphics.
- Develop engaging static ad creatives with attention-grabbing headlines, benefit-driven copy layouts, and scroll-stopping visuals.
- Source and incorporate imagery from platforms like Unsplash, Pexels, and across the internet — not just basic stock libraries.
- Constantly analyze ad libraries and tools like Atria/Foreplay to spot winning design formats and bring fresh concepts to the team for testing.
- Design cohesive brand systems including typography, color palettes, and visual guidelines that align with our brand identity.
- Analyze why certain ad designs work (or don't) and apply learnings to improve iterations and future creatives.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to test, iterate, and improve creative performance based on data and feedback.
- Stay up to date with trends in direct-to-consumer (DTC) design and social-first visual styles. Must be prepared to bring ideas to the table in terms of ad formats that resonate organically on target audiences' feeds, discovered through ad libraries and tools like Atria/Foreplay.
- Deliver clean, polished, professional work that drives results.
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of graphic design experience in ecommerce/DTC content (portfolio required).
- Advanced proficiency in major design tools, including:
Adobe Photoshop
Adobe Illustrator
Figma
Canva Pro
Adobe InDesign (or other top industry tools)
- Skilled in layout design, typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
- Proven ability to find and source unique imagery and design assets across the internet.
- Must have a strong foundation with AI tools to generate supporting imagery, backgrounds, and creative elements as needed on platforms such as Midjourney, DALL-E, Leonardo AI, Ideogram, Flux, etc.
- 100% fluent in English (a call with the founder will assess grammar and fluency; accents are fine).
- Strong sense of visual storytelling, brand consistency, and conversion-focused design principles.
- Excellent communication, responsiveness, and a true team player.
- Bonus: Copywriting experience or comfort working with ad copy and messaging hierarchy.
