If your portfolio is corporate explainers, fitness content, real estate walkthroughs, or talking-head videos — this is not the role for you.
We need someone who lives and breathes nightlife content, comedy-driven ads, and fast-turnaround event promotion. If that's not your lane, save us both the time.
About the Role
We are looking for a full-time Content Creator Virtual Assistant to own the entire content output for a single nightclub venue in Australia.
This is not a "cut clips and add subtitles" role. This is a full content creation role where you own the content engine for one venue.
You will be responsible for producing the complete content pipeline — paid ad creatives, organic social posts, short-form video (Reels, TikTok, Shorts), stories, event hype sequences, post-event recaps, UGC curation, and comedy/personality content that builds the venue's brand between events.
The venue runs on a weekly cycle. Every week has events. Every week needs a content arc — from teaser to hype to event night to recap. You need to understand that rhythm and own it without being told what to post every day.
This is a remote role based in the Philippines. You will not be on-site. Raw footage, photos, and assets will be provided to you by the venue team. However, you are expected to be proactive — you tell the venue what footage you need, what angles to capture, what
This Role Is a Content Engine — Not Just Editing
This is not a general VA role.
This is not a strategy role.
This is not a "wait for briefs and execute" role.
The priority is:
Owning the weekly content cadence for the venue — you know what needs to go out and when
Building multi-day hype sequences before every event (teasers, DJ reveals, countdowns, last-call urgency posts)
Creating scroll-stopping paid ad content (video and static) designed to sell tickets
Producing high-energy organic social posts that drive engagement and build the venue's personality
Editing raw event footage into polished, fast-paced content — Reels, TikToks, Shorts, Stories
Creating post-event recaps, highlight reels, and UGC compilations that keep the venue top of mind
Producing comedy-driven and entertainment-style content that builds the brand between events
Proactively sending shot lists, content briefs, and footage requests to the venue team — you direct what gets captured on the ground
Sourcing and curating user-generated content from patrons (tagged stories, crowd footage, phone videos) and turning it into polished posts and ads
You must understand what makes people stop scrolling, laugh, share, and buy tickets.
Key Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities (Core Focus)
Owning the weekly content calendar and storytelling arc for the venue
Sending content briefs, shot lists, and footage requests to the venue team before events — you tell them what you need captured
Editing short-form video content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts from raw footage provided by the venue
Producing paid ad creatives (video and static) designed to convert and sell tickets
Creating organic social media posts that drive engagement
Building multi-day event hype sequences — teasers, DJ lineup reveals, countdown content, last-call urgency posts
Producing post-event recap content — highlight reels, UGC compilations, crowd reaction clips, best-of edits
Sourcing, curating, and repurposing user-generated content (patron videos, tagged stories, crowd footage)
Creating comedy, personality, and behind-the-scenes content that builds the venue's brand between events
Adding text overlays, subtitles, effects, transitions, and trending audio
Adapting one concept across multiple formats (Feed, Story, Square, Vertical, 9:16)
Delivering content on tight turnarounds — 6 to 24 hours when events demand it
Secondary Responsibilities (Support Tasks)
Organising content files in Google Drive
Tracking deliverables and deadlines in ClickUp
Following creative briefs and campaign deadlines from the marketing team
Preparing content exports correctly for each platform
Scheduling-ready content handoffs
(No paid ads management. No media buying. No marketing strategy.)
Required Experience (Non-Negotiable)
To be considered, you must have:
Experience creating content for nightclubs, DJs, festivals, live events, bars, comedy nights, or entertainment venues
Strong short-form video editing skills — not just trimming clips, but concept-to-finished-piece from raw footage
Experience producing paid ad creatives (video and/or static) that are designed to sell tickets or drive event attendance
Experience creating organic social content that drives real engagement
Understanding of weekly content cadence — you know how to tell a story across a week, building from teaser to hype to recap
Understanding of what makes comedy, entertainment, and nightlife content perform on social
Ability to work fast — this is an events business, not a "we'll get to it next week" environment
The ability to be proactive — you don't wait for someone to tell you what to make. You identify what's needed, request the right footage, and deliver
Evidence of content you've created that has gone viral or achieved significant reach (views, shares, engagement well above the norm for the account). Include specific examples with metrics if possible.
A portfolio that clearly demonstrates nightlife, events, comedy, or entertainment content
If your experience is mainly corporate, ecommerce product ads, fitness, real estate, or minimalist branding — this role is not suitable.
Nice to Have (Not Required)
Experience with ticket sale campaigns or event countdown sequences
Understanding of
Experience creating UGC-style or native-feeling ad content
Motion graphics or animation skills
Experience working with Australian or Western nightlife brands
Basic graphic design ability (Canva or similar) for event posters, story graphics, and static ad creatives
Content Style We're Looking For
Fast-paced and high-energy
Bold text, punchy captions
Dark themes, neon, club lighting
Comedy timing and entertainment hooks
Native to the platform — not repurposed corporate content
Content that tells a story across the week, not random one-off posts
Content that feels like it belongs on a nightclub's page, not a brand agency's portfolio
What Success Looks Like in This Role
You own the content rhythm for the venue without being micromanaged
You proactively request the footage and assets you need from the venue team
You can turn raw footage into multiple pieces of polished content quickly
You understand the weekly cycle: tease ? hype ? event ? recap ? repeat
You consistently meet tight deadlines
You produce high-quality work without excessive revisions
You create content that gets people to stop scrolling and buy tickets
You've created content before that has achieved viral or outsized reach
Tools You'll Use
CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar (video editing)
Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator or Canva (graphics)
Google Drive (file management and asset sharing)
ClickUp (task management)
Working Hours & Compensation
Full-time role (38 hours per week)
Must work during Australian business hours — AWST, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (full overlap required)
Must be responsive and available during agreed working hours
Salary: $1,200 AUD per month, paid weekly via Wise
Long-term position for the right person, with room to grow
This role is not suitable for freelancers juggling multiple clients. We need someone committed, available, and fast.

To apply, you must include:
A short introduction about yourself

At least one example of a paid ad creative you produced
At least one example of organic social content
An example of how you've proactively directed or briefed content capture (e.g. shot lists, content requests, footage briefs you've sent to a client or team)

Applications without relevant nightlife, event, or entertainment samples will not be considered.
To confirm you've read this job description, include the word "FREQUENCY" in the first line of your application.
Final Note

If we have to dig through your portfolio to figure out whether you've done this kind of work before — you're already out.
