## Job description
We build consumer mobile apps and are looking for a reliable full-time VA to help us create short-form content, manage separate social accounts for each app, research creators, publish in relevant online communities, and support user engagement.
You will support three mobile apps:
- **StreakLeague:** a social habit and accountability app
- **Settle:** a group decision and voting app
- **Shotbox:** an app that turns screenshots into organised, actionable information
This is a combined content-production, social-account-management, community-growth, and creator-outreach role.
We will provide the product positioning, app access, screen recordings, approved brand assets, initial content angles, and guidance. You will turn these inputs into platform-native content, publish consistently, participate in relevant communities, respond to users, research creators, and track which activities generate qualified installs.
## Main responsibilities
### 1. Short-form video creation
- Turn written scripts, product ideas, app demonstrations, screenshots, and screen recordings into vertical videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels,
- Create videos approximately 15–45 seconds long
- Produce multiple opening hooks from one core idea
- Edit app recordings, screenshots, text overlays, licensed stock footage, approved visuals, music, and voiceovers
- Add captions, subtitles, clean cuts, sound effects, and platform-native formatting
- Create simple, natural-looking content rather than polished corporate advertisements
- Rework strong-performing videos into fresh variations
- Build and maintain reusable editing templates for each app
- Adapt videos for each platform instead of publishing the exact same version everywhere
- Export clean final files and keep project files organised in shared folders
You will not normally need to appear on camera. AI-assisted voiceovers, captions, b-roll, and visual tools may be used where appropriate. All AI-assisted content must follow the applicable platform rules.
### 2. Separate social account and channel management
Each app will have its own approved consumer-facing social accounts and channels. You will help set up, organise, and manage these accounts using company-controlled access.
This may include separate accounts for:
- TikTok
- Instagram
- YouTube Shorts
-
- Reddit, where approved
Your responsibilities will include:
- Publish each piece of content to the correct app account
- Maintain the correct profile description, app-store link, branding, and pinned content
- Prepare platform-specific titles, captions, hashtags, calls to action, and descriptions
- Upload YouTube Shorts to the separate YouTube channel for each app
- Maintain a weekly content calendar for all three apps
- Track which concepts, hooks, formats, and platforms have already been tested
- Monitor comments and messages on active accounts
- Escalate bugs, payment questions, complaints, or sensitive issues
- Never change account ownership, recovery details, passwords, or permissions without approval
- Use company-provided manager or contributor access wherever available
The initial YouTube focus will be Shorts. Long-form YouTube production is not required unless later agreed.
### 3. Content scheduling and publishing
- Schedule and publish approved content across the relevant platforms
- Check every video, caption, link, app name, and call to action before publishing
- Adapt content to the style and technical requirements of each platform
- Avoid publishing identical captions and hashtags across every platform
- Repost or remake successful concepts without repeatedly uploading duplicate content
- Maintain an organised record of publication dates, links, captions, and content status
- Flag content that requires approval before publication
- Keep a balanced content mix across product demonstrations, relatable situations, challenges, outcomes, user questions, and feature education
### 4. Reddit posting, community participation, and app seeding
You will actively research and participate in relevant Reddit communities,
This is a core part of the role, not an occasional task.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Research relevant communities for each app
- Read and record each community’s rules before posting or commenting
- Identify whether promotional posts, app links, screenshots, cards, feedback requests, or comments are permitted
- Maintain a community tracker showing the community name, audience, rules, allowed content, previous activity, and results

- Participate in relevant conversations with useful, natural responses
- Share app links only where relevant and permitted

- Record posts that are approved, removed, locked, or receive moderator feedback
- Collect product feedback, objections, feature requests, and recurring user questions
- Never ask for upvotes or artificial engagement
Community participation must be transparent, helpful, and compliant with platform rules. We do not use fake accounts, invented personal stories, copied comments, mass posting, vote manipulation, or misleading engagement.

- Follow up politely when appropriate
- Avoid identical mass messages
- Coordinate initial questions from interested creators
- Share approved app access, briefs, scripts, campaign concepts, and deadlines
