JOB OVERVIEW

Remote | Full-Time | Long-term role

We’re hiring a full-time ecommerce copywriter to join our team.

This is not an email marketing role.
This is conversion-focused website copy for high-end ecommerce brands.

We care about clarity, judgment, and thinking, not hype or fluff.

How this role works

This role starts with a paid trial.

If you pass the trial:

we’ll do a short interview

then move you into a full-time role

We don’t hire based on CVs alone.
We hire based on how you think and how you work inside a system.

What you’ll be doing (day to day)

Writing ecommerce product page (PDP) copy

Working section-by-section (hero, benefits, proof, reviews, risk reversal, etc.)

Using AI (Gemini) as a brainstorming tool, not a replacement

Generating multiple ideas, selecting the best ones, and refining them

Iterating based on feedback and improving drafts quickly

Working inside a clear, structured copy system with high standards

You are not expected to invent everything from scratch.
You are expected to exercise judgment.

What we actually care about

We care more about:

clarity over clever wording

judgment over volume

recognising weak copy over writing flashy lines

customer understanding over marketing buzzwords

If you rely on:

generic marketing language

feature dumping

templates without thinking

“sounds good” copy

This role is not for you.

Who this role is for

This is a good fit if you:

have written ecommerce website copy before

understand the difference between PDP copy and email copy

can explain why a line works (or doesn’t)

are comfortable iterating and killing your own ideas

like working with structure, feedback, and high standards

Experience level:

Junior to mid-level copywriters welcome

You do not need to be elite

You do need to be thoughtful, coachable, and detail-oriented

The trial

If shortlisted, you’ll receive:

a clear copy system

customer research

section-by-section tutorials and prompts

guidance on how to use AI properly

You’ll be asked to:

write copy for specific PDP sections

select and refine ideas

show your thinking, not just output

The trial tests:

how you think

how you select

how you iterate

Not how fast you type.
