JOB OVERVIEW

Join a young, fast-growing animation studio creating high-quality documentaries for millions — and grow your career faster than anywhere else. Our flagship channel is Futurology: a YouTube channel with 354,000 subscribers and 150+ million global views.

You’ll be joining a high-performance team to produce high-quality 2D/3D animations in After Effects/Blender for documentary-style videos.

This is not a simple editing job, freelance gig or for those who prefer doing simple editing work — we move fast, constantly innovate, and love challenges. Basic After Effects experience is required — you must already know the fundamentals of motion, effects, transitions, masking and keyframing.

We’re looking for someone who is:

Requirements:
- Basic experience in Adobe After Effects (we will train you to mastery)
- Strong work ethic and full-time availability (40 hours/week)
- Creative eye and interest in storytelling + visual design
- Positive, respectful attitude
- Ability to take feedback and apply it quickly
- Growth mindset and willingness to push your limits
- Reliable electricity + fast internet
- Computer with at least 16GB RAM (After Effects is demanding)

Compensation:
- Base $5/hourly pay (tracked via timesheet)
- Performance bonuses tied to contribution + video performance (typically brings hourly average to $6-8/hour)
- Pay raises tied directly to your animation skill + efficiency (PE Ratio)
