JOB OVERVIEW

**Full-time · Remote · $800–$1200 USD/month + performance bonuses · Immediate start**

Read this entire post before applying. It is deliberately demanding. We're looking for one experienced person, not fifty hopefuls.

Who this role is NOT for
Rule yourself out if any of these describe you:

- You are a general graphic designer, brand designer, or "visual content creator."
- Your main experience is organic social media, Canva templates, or pretty e-commerce banners.
- You make images that look nice but you can't explain why they sell.
- You've never worked on direct response ads that spent real money.
- You've never worked on supplement offers specifically.
- You had never heard of a Long-Form Static before reading this post.

If any of the above is you, this role will frustrate both of us. Please don't apply.

The role:
We're a fast-growing direct response supplement company hiring a full-time AI-focused image editor who owns the ideation, generation, editing, and production of performance static ad creatives for supplement offers.

You will primarily create:
- Bottom-of-funnel sales statics
- Promotional and offer statics (Buy 2 Get 1 Free, bundles, discounts)
- Product-benefit and product-mechanism creatives
- Advertorial-style and native direct response images
- Long-Form Static (LFS) images
- Variations of winning creatives
- New concepts built from scripts, hooks, leads, ad copy, customer research, and performance data

This is not a role where every image is dictated to you. You receive strategy and input, and independently develop strong concepts and execute them. We want creative judgment and direct response thinking, not a pair of hands that needs every step spelled out.

Non-negotiable requirements
**1. Proven direct response experience.** You've genuinely created static ad creatives for direct response brands. You understand a DR image doesn't exist to look attractive — it exists to stop the scroll, carry an angle, support the hook, create curiosity, present proof or an offer, handle objections, and drive the click and the purchase. You're fluent in hooks, angles, leads, awareness levels, pain points, benefits vs. features, mechanisms, offer presentation, scroll-stopping, CTR, conversion rate, bottom-of-funnel messaging, creative testing and iteration, winning-ad variations, native vs. polished creatives, proof, curiosity, urgency, emotional identification, problem-solution framing, visual hierarchy, and message-to-market match. If those terms aren't already part of how you think, you don't have the experience we need.

**2. Proven supplement experience — specific, not vague.** Supplement-ad experience is mandatory. Generic e-commerce, "health," "wellness," or "fitness" experience is not enough. If an NDA prevents you from naming the brand, say so — and still give full detail. This is the level of specificity we expect:

> "I worked for eight months on a direct response joint-support supplement targeting men and women 45+. The angle was knee stiffness and pain on stairs. Capsule format with turmeric, boswellia, and glucosamine. I produced bottom-of-funnel offer statics, mechanism creatives, advertorial images, and LFS images."

> "Under NDA, so I can't name it — a blood-sugar-support supplement, cinnamon-based powder. I was on the account about a year and produced 250+ static variations: native UGC-style images, ingredient visuals, discount statics, and LFS concepts."

Relevant niches include, but aren't limited to: joint/knee, blood sugar, weight management, gut health, probiotics, women's health, menopause, hormonal, sleep, stress, cognitive, heart, circulation, pain/inflammation, liver, kidney, testosterone, hair, skin, vision, oral health.

**3. Deep Long-Form Static (LFS) experience.** An LFS is a static image paired with long-form, advertorial-style ad copy, where the image has to stop the scroll, support the angle, and earn the very first line of the read. That definition is the easy part — repeating it back proves nothing. We need you to explain LFS in depth, in your own words, from real experience. Applicants who only give a textbook definition won't be considered. Applicants who first heard of LFS in this post shouldn't apply.

You should already understand: the role of the image inside a long-form ad; how it relates to hook, lead, body, and offer; why it doesn't need to explain the whole product; why it must match the emotion and angle of the hook; how it earns attention without looking like a traditional ad; the difference between proof-based, curiosity-based, native, clinical, emotional, raw, advertorial, and educational LFS imagery; how one body carries multiple hook/lead variations; how shared imagery differs from angle-specific imagery; how to avoid visual claims the copy doesn't support; and how to turn one script into several genuinely different visual concepts.

AI-first workflow:
This is an AI-focused position. You must be fluent using AI across the whole process: script analysis, customer-research analysis, ideation, angle development, prompting, generation, editing, product compositing, retouching, variations, iteration, and final delivery.

You should have serious hands-on experience with several tools such as Claude, ChatGPT Images, Gemini, Higgsfield, Midjourney, Flux, Photoshop (incl. AI features), Canva, and upscaling/compositing tools — and learn new platforms fast. Not every tool is mandatory, but shallow experience with one isn't enough.

**Claude experience is strongly preferred.** You'll regularly use Claude to analyze scripts, break down hooks/leads/angles, find the central emotion, develop concepts, write and refine detailed prompts, create controlled variations, translate copy strategy into visual execution, sense-check whether an image truly matches the script, and build new concepts from winners.

You're not someone who types one sentence into a generator and ships the first output. You direct composition, camera, lighting, realism, emotion, framing, hierarchy, product placement, native imperfections, human realism, packaging accuracy, and text placement — and can diagnose exactly why an output looks fake, polished, stock-like, or disconnected from the copy.

What you'll do:
Generate new statics with AI tools then edit and improve them; composite bottles/packaging accurately and build realistic product scenes; replace backgrounds/objects and improve lighting, realism, framing, hierarchy; add readable headlines, labels, offer callouts, badges, annotations; build Buy 2 Get 1 Free, bundle, and bottom-of-funnel statics; create LFS images from scripts and hooks; produce multiple variations of winners without near-duplicates; adapt across placements and aspect ratios; keep packaging and brand assets consistent; deliver strong daily/weekly output with correct file naming; respond to feedback fast and improve based on ad performance; work independently within our workflows and hit deadlines.

Compensation & growth:
- **Salary: $800–$1,000 USD/month**, full-time, depending on experience and skill
- Long-term role with a fast-moving performance marketing team
- **Performance-based bonus opportunities** — extra bonuses for winning statics and strong in-market performers (opportunities, not guarantees)
- Room to grow in responsibility, compensation, and creative ownership
- Immediate or near-immediate start required

How to apply — read carefully:
**The first word of your application must be: COFFEE** — the very first word, before anything else. We get heavy spam and low-effort applications; this identifies people who actually read instructions. **Applications that don't begin with COFFEE are archived immediately.**

Answer every question in detail. Vague, incomplete, generic, or obviously AI-generated answers with no real examples will be rejected on sight. Don't copy definitions from Google, ChatGPT, or this post — we can tell.

**1. Direct response experience** — years/months; companies/brands/agencies/clients; exact role; creatives you personally produced; roughly how many statics per week/month; funnel stages; whether you got performance data; whether any became winners or got scaled; what metrics/feedback judged your work.

**2. Supplement experience** — for every relevant brand/project: name (or state NDA), exact niche, exact customer problem/outcome, type of supplement, key ingredients/formulation, format (capsule/powder/gummy/liquid/topical), target customer, markets, duration, approx. number of creatives, types, funnel stages, your exact contribution, whether they ran in paid campaigns, known results. "Health/wellness/fitness" is not specific enough — answer at the level of "joint-support capsules for knee stiffness" or "cinnamon-based blood-sugar powder."

**3. Long-Form Static knowledge (own words)** — what an LFS is and the job of the image; how the image works with hook and lead; how LFS imagery differs from a standard DR static; what makes an LFS image strong or weak; how you choose an image based on the script's emotion; shared vs. angle-specific imagery; handling multiple hooks on the same body; preventing image-copy mismatch; which LFS categories you've personally used; how many you've made, for which niches, for how long; which parts you handled (ideation/prompts/generation/editing/overlays/delivery); examples.

**4. Portfolio proof** — DR static portfolio, supplement-specific work, LFS examples, offer statics, bottom-of-funnel statics, AI-generated examples, before/after edits. For each: brand/niche, objective, funnel stage, input received, what you personally created, tools used, whether actively tested, known result. Clearly separate your own work from team work.

**5. AI workflow** — which tools and for how long; preferred tool per creative type; how you use Claude for analysis/ideation/prompting; an example of a detailed prompt you wrote; how you fix fake/generic generations; how you keep product/packaging consistent; how you produce genuinely different concepts from one script; how you d ---------- to generate, edit, composite, or rebuild.

**6. Practical ideation question (thinking, not final art)** — You receive long-form ad copy for a supplement targeting adults with recurring knee discomfort, centered on frustration with temporary fixes, trouble on stairs, and finally understanding the underlying mechanism. Provide: the core emotion, the main angle, three meaningfully different image concepts, why each fits, which would stop the scroll most effectively, which AI tools you'd use, and one detailed prompt for a single concept. Do not create the final image unless asked — we're evaluating your thinking.

**7. Availability & terms** — current employment situation, full-time availability, time zone, working hours, earliest start date, whether $800–$1,000/month works, long-term commitment, other clients/jobs, internet/computer reliability.

Shortlist: test task

Shortlisted applicants may receive a small test: review a script, identify the hook and emotional angle, propose multiple concepts, write a detailed prompt, generate or edit one static, explain your choices, and make one feedback-based revision. It evaluates DR understanding, supplement and LFS knowledge, ideation, prompting, generation/editing ability, speed, attention to detail, and instruction-following.

If you've read this far and it sounds like exactly the work you're already great at, we want to hear from you. Start with **COFFEE** and be specific.
