JOB OVERVIEW

I’m building an early-stage healthcare web platform focused on real-time physician workflows (telehealth-first, inpatient-ready).

I’m looking for a strong full-stack developer who can help implement the product end-to-end: frontend UI, backend services, and third-party API integrations.

Important: I will personally handle the AI/ML logic, training, and medical domain decisions. Your role is engineering and implementation, not data science.

What you’ll work on:
• Building a desktop-first web app for physicians (React / Next.js or similar)
• Implementing backend services (Node.js, Python, or similar)
• Integrating APIs for:
• Speech-to-text
• Translation
• LLM-based inference (API usage only — no model training required)
• Real-time features (audio streaming, live transcription updates)
• Canvas / whiteboard-style UI components
• Generating structured outputs (PDFs, summaries, exports)
• Secure authentication and basic HIPAA-aware handling of data

What you will not be responsible for:
• Training AI models
• Medical decision-making
• Clinical validation

Ideal candidate:
• Can read and reason about an existing codebase
• Comfortable choosing and working within modern frameworks
• Knows how to wire systems together cleanly
• Thinks in systems, not just isolated features

This is an early-stage product with real physician users lined up. Strong performance can lead to longer-term work and deeper involvement.
