JOB OVERVIEW

We are building a new U.S.-based automotive marketplace platform and are looking for a hands-on full-stack developer to help build the product from the ground up.

This is not a front-end-only position. You should be comfortable working across the entire application, including the user interface, backend, database, authentication, APIs, webhooks, third-party integrations, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.

Our current stack is Next.js, React, TypeScript, Node.js, GitHub and Vercel. The platform will include separate customer, business-user and admin portals, with a relational database, role-based authentication, payments, notifications, messaging, scheduling, and integrations with third-party software through APIs and webhooks.

We are looking for someone who can take a clearly defined business workflow and help translate it into reliable software—not simply someone who can build pages from a design.

You should be comfortable with:

• Next.js / React
• TypeScript / JavaScript
• Node.js and backend development
• PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
• REST APIs and webhooks
• Authentication and role-based permissions
• Git / GitHub
• Vercel or similar cloud deployment
• Integrating third-party SaaS products

Experience with Stripe, Twilio, Supabase, transactional email, scheduling systems, or marketplace applications is a plus.

AI development tools are encouraged. We want someone who knows how to use tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Codex, Cursor or similar tools to work faster and solve problems. However, you must understand, explain, debug and maintain the code you produce.

This is an early-stage product, so the person we hire will have meaningful involvement in how the application is built. If the relationship works well, we are looking for someone who can continue developing and maintaining the platform as the company grows.
