FULL STACK DEVELOPER — AI-ENABLED WEB APPLICATIONS

Location: Remote (Philippines-based)

Position Type: Part-time to start, with a path to full-time based on performance and fit

Schedule: Aligned with U.S. Eastern Time (EST/New York); minimum 4-hour daily overlap required

Team Context: You'll join a remote team that includes an AI automation specialist (n8n, Open Claw, agent orchestration).
This role is the application-development counterpart to that function — you build the products; your teammate builds the automation glue around them. Expect close collaboration, not overlap.

POSITION OVERVIEW

We're looking for a strong/experienced full stack developer to design, build, and maintain enterprise-grade web applications in the electric mobility (eMobility) space — think fleet electrification dashboards, multimodal routing tools, EV education platforms, and data-driven CMS-backed sites. You'll work at the intersection of product engineering and applied AI, implementing your coding skills with tools like Claude Code, Codex/GPT, and Kimi K3 as coding and research accelerants — not as a crutch, but as a way to move faster and keep costs down. The person filling this role would also need to stay abreast of the latest updates and tools utilized in the sector.

This is a builder role first. You should love and have experience writing clean, maintainable code, care about security, performance, and speed and be comfortable owning a feature/project from database schema to deployed UI. AI fluency is a strong plus, not the core job.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Application Development (Primary Focus)
Design and build full stack web applications and dashboards— React/Next.js (or similar) front ends connected to Node.js/Python back ends
Design and build internal systems and automations to streamline team workflows
Architect and manage relational and/or NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Firebase, Supabase) for data-intensive tools (e.g., fleet electrification calculators, EV range/charging models)
Build and maintain CMS-backed sites (Wix, headless, or custom CMS) with clean content workflows for non-technical stakeholders
Connect web apps to cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure, or Vercel/Render-style platforms) with attention to uptime, scalability, and cost
Implement authentication, role-based access, and security best practices appropriate for enterprise clients (OWASP basics, secure API design, data encryption at rest/in transit)
Write and maintain REST/GraphQL APIs and webhook integrations that your automation-focused teammate can plug into

AI-Accelerated Development
Use AI coding assistants (Claude, Codex, Cursor, Kimi K3, etc.) to accelerate development while maintaining code quality and review discipline - reviewing code before it is deployed
Exercise judgment on model selection — knowing when a lightweight/cheap model is "good enough" for boilerplate vs. when a task needs a frontier model is necessary
Collaborate with the team's AI automation specialist to expose clean APIs/webhooks so n8n and agent-based workflows can interact with your applications

SEO & GEO (Generative Engine Optimization)
Implement technical SEO fundamentals (site speed, structured data/schema markup, semantic HTML, sitemaps, Core Web Vitals) into everything you build
Apply GEO principles so content and app pages are legible to AI answer engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews) — clean information architecture, clear factual statements, structured data

Quality & Operations
Perform regular health/security audits on deployed applications and databases
Maintain documentation for architecture, environment setup, and deployment processes
Troubleshoot integration issues between your applications, the CMS, and third-party/automation tools

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
Internet: High-speed connection (min. 50 Mbps) with documented backup (secondary ISP or mobile hotspot)
Computer: Mac preferred, 16GB RAM minimum (32GB+ preferred), Apple Silicon or Intel i7/i9
Audio/Video: Professional noise-canceling headset, HD webcam
Power: UPS for outage continuity
Workspace: Quiet, dedicated home office

QUALIFICATIONS
Required
3+ years professional full stack development experience, with a portfolio or GitHub showing real shipped applications (not just tutorials/clones)
Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript; comfortable in at least one back-end language (Node.js, Python, or Go)
Hands-on experience with at least one modern front-end framework (React, Vue, or Next.js)
Experience designing and querying relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and comfort with at least one NoSQL option
Experience deploying and maintaining applications on cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure/Vercel)
Practical, hands-on experience using AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Copilot, or similar) in a real production workflow
Working understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, and JSON — enough to integrate cleanly with an automation layer (n8n) built by a teammate
Solid grasp of web security fundamentals (auth, input validation, secrets management, HTTPS/SSL)
Exceptional written and verbal English for a U.S.-facing corporate environment

Strongly Preferred
Experience with CMS platforms — Wix Velo, Webflow, WordPress, or headless CMS (Sanity, Contentful, Strapi)
Familiarity with SEO/technical SEO and emerging GEO practices
Exposure to n8n, Zapier, ---------- , or similar — enough to speak the same language as an automation-focused teammate, even if it's not your core job
Experience with data visualization/dashboarding (D3, Recharts, Chart.js) — relevant for fleet/energy data tools
Background in EV, energy, mobility, clean tech, or logistics sectors
Experience with real-time data (WebSockets, MQTT) — relevant for fleet telemetry or charging-status use cases
Familiarity with basic DevOps/CI-CD (GitHub Actions, Docker)

Nice to Have
Mobile app experience (React Native/Flutter) if the roadmap expands to a driver/fleet-manager app
Experience with mapping/geospatial tools (Mapbox, Google Maps API, Leaflet) — common in fleet/routing tools
Prior experience working in a fully remote, async, US-hours-aligned team
