JOB OVERVIEW

Hiring a highly skilled Full-Stack WordPress / WooCommerce Developer for a full-time, long-term position.

This is a hands-on development role for someone with strong WordPress and WooCommerce experience who can independently build, modify, troubleshoot, test, and maintain websites. implementing Figma designs, solving technical issues, and completing development tasks efficiently with minimal supervision.

We are looking for someone who works efficiently, communicates well, takes ownership of assigned tasks, and is interested in a stable, long-term opportunity.

Responsibilities
-Develop and maintain WordPress and WooCommerce websites
-Convert Figma designs into accurate, responsive WordPress pages
-Work on existing websites without unnecessarily rebuilding them
-Customize themes, child themes, templates, and plugins
-Troubleshoot PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, plugin, database, hosting, and responsive issues
-Complete development tickets across multiple client projects
-Test and QA your own work before submitting it for review
-Resolve bugs and website issues
-Work with staging and production environments
-Handle and troubleshoot website launches, migrations, backups, and deployments

Requirements
-Available to work full-time during agreed U.S. Pacific Time (PT) hours
-Minimum 5+ years of professional WordPress development experience
-Extensive experience working on WordPress client websites, including Git, staging, backups, testing, and deployment
-Strong WooCommerce experience
-Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery, and MySQL
-Experience converting Figma designs into accurate, responsive WordPress websites with strong front-end development skills
-Experience with custom themes, child themes, and WordPress templates
-Experience with Elementor, Gutenberg, WPBakery, or similar page builders
-Ability to independently diagnose and resolve WordPress problems
-Strong attention to detail
-Good written and verbal English
-High integrity, reliable, proactive, and able to manage assigned tasks and deadlines

Big Plus
-Previous experience working with a U.S., Australian, or international digital/web agency
-Experience using AI to accelerate Figma-to-code development
-Experience using Claude, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, or similar AI tools to improve development speed and efficiency
-Custom WordPress plugin development
-API and third-party integrations
-WP Engine, Cloudflare, cPanel, DNS, and SSL
-Core Web Vitals and website performance optimization
-ADA/WCAG accessibility experience
