JOB OVERVIEW

Full-Stack Developer (AI-First, Rapid Build)
Remote | Contract

We’re a small, senior-team marketing and systems agency working with real estate investors, founders, and educators. We build fast, iterate constantly, and rely heavily on AI to design tools, workflows, and internal systems that give us leverage.

We’re looking for a full-stack developer who is deeply comfortable using AI as a daily building partner — not just for code generation, but for thinking, iteration, and speed.

This is not a “wait for specs, then build slowly” role. This is for someone who enjoys ambiguity, systems thinking, and shipping.

What You’ll Work On
-This role is a mix of web development and custom internal tools, including:
-Website & Frontend Work
-WordPress site builds (A–Z: structure, design, implementation)
-High-quality, conversion-focused marketing sites
-Rapid iteration using AI-assisted workflows
-Occasional non-WordPress builds (Next.js / Node.js or other modern stacks when appropriate)

Custom Tools & AI Systems
-Internal AI tools (e.g. custom copywriting engines based on proprietary processes)
-Client-facing portals (asset review, approvals, task visibility, ClickUp-synced workflows)
-Lightweight internal dashboards and utilities
-AI-driven automations and workflows
We care far more about speed, clarity, and leverage than over-engineering.

How We Work
-Small team, very little bureaucracy
-High trust, high responsibility
-Heavy use of AI (ChatGPT, APIs, automation tools)
-Build ? test ? iterate ? improve
You’ll often be given a goal, not a detailed spec

If you need perfectly defined requirements to start, this is not the role for you.

What We’re Looking For
You likely:
-Are a full-stack developer comfortable across frontend + backend
-Use AI daily to plan, write, debug, and iterate faster
-Can build clean WordPress sites quickly and confidently
-Are comfortable choosing tools pragmatically (not emotionally)
-Think in systems, workflows, and modular components
-Can explain your thinking clearly (not just ship code)

Bonus Skills
-Experience with automation tools (Zapier, Make, webhooks)
-Familiarity with AI APIs (OpenAI, etc.)
-Experience building internal tools or ops software
-Product or systems design instincts

Time & Compensation
-Contract role to start
-Project-based or part-time initially, $8-12/hr depending on experience and skills
-Opportunity to scale hours and move toward full-time
-Compensation based on experience and speed
We’re looking to start ASAP

Required Exercise (How We Evaluate Fit)
Instead of a traditional cover letter, we ask applicants to complete a short thinking exercise.

*The Challenge*
Please outline how you would design and approach a system like the following:
-A tool that takes structured inputs (project context, audience, constraints), generates copy using AI, runs that copy through multiple “AI reviewers” with different expert perspectives, scores and critiques each iteration, and automatically loops until a quality threshold is met—at which point it’s surfaced for human review and approval.

You do not need to write code.

In Your Response, Cover (High-Level):
System Architecture:
-How you’d break this into components
-What you’d build first vs later
AI Usage:
-Prompt structure
-Reviewer personas
-Scoring + iteration logic
Tooling Choices:
-What stack(s) you’d consider and why
-Where you’d leverage existing tools vs custom code
Iteration & Control:
-Preventing infinite loops or runaway costs
-Human review and override points
Speed vs Quality:
-What you’d keep simple in v1
-Where you’d intentionally move fast

Bullet points are fine. Diagrams optional.
There is no “correct” answer — we care about how you think.

How to Apply
Please submit:
-Your resume or portfolio (links welcome)
-Your response to the exercise above
If it looks like a strong fit, we’ll move quickly.
